Some of us do not get tax refund checks... I actually would like to meet the families I am supporting. Just what am I getting for the money? I work to pay my bills and care for my family, and on top of that pay income tax, sales tax, city tax, county tax, state tax. I am just one woman, I know there are others like myself, that work, and barely get by, claiming 0 / 0 all year long and still they want more. Honestly, I hardly make enough after taxes to get month to month.
I do not believe, I can afford one more "government hand out". I donate my time and yes even some $ to help those in need here in the US. Those that are disenfranchised here at home. We have to fix what is broken, and make this country a place where, if you work hard, you really can make it. . .

Why, is wanting to be treated fairly "Bullshit" Why are hard working people being taxed into poverty? Why, is it that when you work to care for your family you are "money hungry, racist, uncaring" when you, simply want to be able to make your money stretch to make the ends meet. I am all for helping those that are truly in need. Sadly, our system is broken. We have generational "welfare families". We have people that spend their entire lives on the public's money.
Get these able bodied "AMERICANS" working, vet the ones getting assistance, and make it a, work for help program. Do not just hand out EBT, Medicare, housing vouchers. Make sure the ones that are receiving benefits are truly in need. Nobody, unless truly disabled, would be eligible for benefits for unlimited time. No benefits to able bodied, unless they work, and even then limit the time & number of times an individual can receive benefits. Make it a hand up, not the current hand out. Use the programs as an incentive to get off of benefits, and be self supporting. Our current system has turned so many people into "I don't work I get a check" When asked what is their occupation. These same people, had one or both parents, grand parents, siblings, aunts, and uncles with this same goal. I have watched, young adults move into their own subsidized housing, from their Mother's subsidized housing. A big chunk of AMERICA is broken, and does not know how to make a living.
