CPSO said they received multiple 911 calls from a home on Lynn Havens Dr. Deputies said that when they got there, they found a child who has intellectual disabilities and is nonverbal.

Deputies also said the child was found to be naked, dirty, and emaciated.

Detectives with CPSO’s Special Victims Unit was called to the scene. The guardians of the child, Laurie Stewert and Tony Williams, arrived at the house shortly before detectives got there.
Stewert, 32, was arrested on one count of child desertion and one count of resisting an officer.

Williams, 27, was also arrested on one count of child desertion and one count of resisting an officer.

Detectives said they contacted DCFS, and the child was taken into the state’s custody.

Damn, that’s a tough one. One the one hand, you have a drooling, shitting, disgusting creature that you end up growing to hate. On the other…..It’s your fucking child…….

I honestly couldn’t say how I would handle it. Probably not like this though…..

Laurie Stewart and Tony Williams were arrested on Oct. 2 after deputies said they found a child who has intellectual disabilities left alone, naked, dirty and emaciated. Stewart and Williams were arrested on charges of child desertion and resisting an officer.

On Oct. 8, Stewart and Williams each received an additional charge of cruelty to juveniles. The suspects were rebooked into the Concordia Parish Detention Center.

The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is ongoing.
