A Madison woman encouraged a man to sexually assault her infant daughter, a criminal complaint alleges.

Madison Bishop, 21, is charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree child sexual assault and failure to protect a child. She is listed as a co-defendant with 22-year-old Skyler Klassen.

Madison police arrested Klassen last week after receiving a tip about him allegedly possessing child sexual abuse materials. He is charged with first-degree child sexual assault, four counts of child sexual exploitation and four counts of possession of child pornography.

According to an updated criminal complaint filed in Dane County, Bishop was asleep in another room of the home when Klassen sexually assaulted her infant daughter. Klassen allegedly took photos and video of the assault.

Text messages allegedly sent between Bishop and Klassen, detailed in the complaint, appear to show the two both wanted to and did perform sex acts involving the child.

The messages, which are too disturbing to fully publish online, are dated as far back as Jan. 3, 2025. In one exchange, Bishop allegedly told Klassen she wanted to "teach our girls how to be good toys."

The complaint also alleges that the two repeatedly shared "numerous" drawn images of children being sexually assaulted.

A Madison man pleaded guilty to all of the charges prosecutors filed against him in the sexual assault of his two-month-old child.

Court records show at Skyler Klassen's arraignment he entered guilty pleas to the following felonies:

• 1st-degree child sexual assault
• Incest with a child
• Child sexual exploitation
• Possession of child pornography

Klassen, 22, was arrested in April after officers found evidence of child pornography on his phone. He was being investigated for child pornography in Nevada.


According to a criminal complaint, Klassen admitted to molesting his two-month-old child and taking a video of it. He and the baby's mother, Madison Bishop, planned how they would sexually assault the child before the baby was born. They sent messages to each other that contained graphic descriptions of what they would like to do to the child.

Skyler Klassen, 22, pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual assault of a child, child sexual exploitation, and possession of child pornography on May 12. He was accused of sexually assaulting Madison Bishop's infant daughter. Detectives at the scene recovered various sexually explicit images of Bishop's daughter from Klassen's phone, as well as video evidence of the assault.

Bishop was charged in April with conspiracy to commit first-degree child sexual assault and failure to protect a child. Prosecutors said that she encouraged Klassen to sexually assault her daughter.

A criminal complaint obtained by Channel3000.com alleged that Bishop and Klassen discussed in text messages how they wanted to and did perform sex acts involving the child.

Online court records show that Klassen will serve 70 years in the prison followed by 40 years of extended supervision. His conditions include not having contact with the victim and mandatory registration as a sex offender.
