"An infant and a toddler died Thursday at a home in rural Northern California, apparently drowned by their mother who was then arrested on suspicion of homicide, sheriff’s officials said.

Deputies arrested the 26-year-old mother, Courtney Williams, after responding to a home in the 6100 block of Sunshine Avenue in Linda, where her husband called 911 after discovering she had drowned their two young boys in a bathtub, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department announced Thursday in a news release.

The boys’ father returned home from work just before noon, when his wife, Williams, allegedly told him that she had hurt the children, sheriff’s officials said. The father searched the home and found his sons unresponsive in the bathtub full of water. Despite attempts to save their lives, the two children, 2-and-a-half-year-old Ronin and his 5-month-old brother Holden, were pronounced dead at the scene"

YUBA COUNTY, Calif. — A Linda mother is accused of drowning her two young boys in their home, the Yuba County Sheriff's Office said Thursday afternoon.
The mother was identified as 25-year-old Courtney Williams, who was arrested on suspicion of homicide.
“The tragic loss of five-month-old Holden and his two-a-half-year old brother Ronin reverberates throughout our department and into the community,” Yuba County Sheriff Wendell Anderson said in a statement. “There are no words to adequately describe the sadness we feel for the family at this time.”

Deputies said the father called the Sheriff's office just before noon to report the drowning at his home on Sunshine Avenue in Linda.
Arriving deputies found the two children in the bathroom, despite CPR and efforts to save them, the kids were pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies said the father learned of the drowning after he came home for lunch and his wife told him that she "hurt the children." After searching the home, he found his boys in a bathtub.

She looks so defeated. I feel like this may be a ppd situation. I can't even imagine the anguish of the father finding that scene.

Let's hope he's not another Rusty Yates. If he knew she was unwell and left her alone with them the guilt will ruin him. Unless he's trash like Rusty and just moves on to the first hot blonde that will have his babies.
