George Floyd got EVERYTHING he deserved.
So, I've been avoiding gas stations lately lol. Garfield Heights police arrested a man after a standoff after he threatened to kill employees of a Sunoco gas station. He hasn't been formally charged in the incident that started just before 3 a.m. Wednesday at Sunoco at Rockside and Turney roads.
Police received call about shots being fired at the Sunoco. When they got there they learned the man in question walked into the gas station, pulled out a gun and threatened to kill three employees. He walked out of the gas station, fired a shot into the air and ran from the gas station.
They located the man at a nearby home on Rockside Road. The officers got the man’s family safely out of the home, but the man did not respond to officers’ request to come out of the house. Police called in the SWAT team to the home to negotiate with the man. The man surrendered more than five hours later without incident. Officers took him to the Garfield Heights City Jail pending his first court appearance.
