It’s a case that unfolded in graphic messages with an undercover agent posing online as the parent of a girl under 10 years old.
Nathan Baker, 31, of Flat Rock, was indicted on one count of distribution of child sexually abusive material on March 11, 2026.
The government’s earlier criminal complaint asked for three federal violations: distribution of child pornography, receipt and possession of child pornography, and attempted coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity.
Prosecutors said a user account with the name “spclneeds” reached out and quickly focused on the undercover agent’s supposed child.
“What’s up with promoting you have a daughter?” the ‘spclneeds’ account allegedly said, later saying, “Like, is she cute?”
Spclneeds: “Are you like trying to get her out? Or do you just want guys to appreciate her?”
The undercover agent told the user, “I’ve let other guys play with her before,” according to the complaint. The account responded with a series of questions about the child and whether she “liked” what was happening, then assured the undercover agent he wouldn’t be rough.
The account “spclneeds” then described his past, including one encounter when he was 22, in which he said he believed someone was older but “turns out she was only 14.”
Weeks later, prosecutors said “spclneeds” reopened the subject.
“How your daughter doing?” he allegedly asked on Oct. 22, 2025, before describing the sex acts he said he wanted and signaling he believed it could be arranged with the parents’ help.
“I would like to a lot, the only issue would be how much money you’re wanting,” the “spclneeds” account said.
The undercover agent suggested “$250,” and “spclneeds” allegedly said he’d need time to come up with the money but was “very interested.”

“She’s really so beautiful, my heart’s racing a little thinking I’ll be able to see her soon,” the account allegedly said. When he confirmed the child’s age, he added, “And she’s 8, you said?”
The next day, the messages became even more explicit, focusing on sexual acts the user said he wanted to perform and asking about arranging a time to meet, according to the feds.
The feds said the chats expanded to the exchange of sexual images. In one exchange, “spclneeds” allegedly sent an image and said, “she’s 13” and described how he believed he knew her age.
