Sentenced: Normal Woman Will Stay in Jail For Filming Sexual Encounters With An Animal, Child

The investigation into into 34-year-old Sarah Howard ( Sarah Beth Troutwine) began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted Bloomington Police about the uploading of videos believed to be child pornography.

After multiple search warrants, police said Howard allegedly sexually assaulted a child and performed sexual acts with an animal.

During the search, police also allegedly found evidence of child pornography.

McLean County Prosecutors charged Howard with Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault with a victim less than 13.

Additionally, Howard faces five counts of allegedly having sex with an animal, five counts of reproduction of child pornography, five counts of possession of child pornography, and three counts of production of pornography with an animal.

A Bloomington woman is going to spend nearly a century in prison following an investigation involving sexual assault and child pornography.

On Tuesday, July 15, Sarah B. Troutwine, 35, was sentenced to 95 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections following a 2024 child pornography and sexual assault investigation, according to police spokesperson Bryce Janssen.

She pleaded guilty to two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault, for which she was sentenced to 40 years for each charge, and one count of child pornography production, for which she was sentenced to 15 years.

Each count must be served consecutively, and Janssen said she will be eligible for parole in 2100.
