According to New York State Police, on June 18, troopers responded to the area of Lake Shore Drive in Lake George, N.Y., for the report of an infant left unattended on the beach.

A passerby reportedly heard a child crying for an "extended period of time" and discovered the child alone on the beach approximately five feet from the shoreline, troopers said.

Troopers said Paul D. Thorley, 30, and Mary E. Thorley, 28, left the child unattended for approximately 15 minutes while they went boating in the lake.
Both parents were arrested on child endangerment and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Lake George Town Court on June 27, 2024, and released.

After doing some research it seems to me Ms. Timms was pregnant during the time...
