The issue is the migrants, they can’t afford all the social programs to house, feed and educate the migrants and fund a prison system at the same time, there really isn’t enough money for both
Like idiots here, defund police and prison and increase social funding, probably why dangerous prisoners are being released and judges refuse to charge dangerous criminals against DA recommendations
Defund police/ prison add social workers, sociologists and after school programs. Violent marriage disputes will be handled by trained social workers, can’t wait to see how that turns out

"Knife crime" is not the real issue, it's a lack of parental guidance and teaching children about respecting one another. I know teenage girls often stab each other in the back, but this is getting ridiculous. People are blaming the weapons, not the goddamn criminals! They banned guns, so criminals are using knives, cars, battery acid, pitchforks, etc. People who are intent on carrying out violence are going to find some kind of implementation to carry it out. So banning guns, knives, chemicals, etc isn't going to help. Many people rely on electronic gadgets to be babysitters and don't actually sit down and talk to their kids about life. And then they get enraged when the kids do something wrong and beat the hell out of them. Criminals come from lazy, abusive caretakers who want no better for their own children.

I found this to be especially apparent during the quarantine. All the people complaining about having to "teach" their children. Just because you ship them off to a school for 8 hours a day does not mean they come out with everything they need to know.
