Jacoby Robinson the father was arrested

During a court hearing over the weekend, prosecutors told the court that Robinson confessed that he had been in the home as the victim was beaten and whipped to the point that he began throwing up, Las Vegas NBC affiliate KSNV reported.
Prosecutors also alleged that Robinson Jr. suffered numerous “very concerning injuries,” including a “pattern of abrasions in his genital area consisting of banding from rubber bands that officers saw in the home,” KSNV reported.

Ultimately, authorities said that nearly the child’s entire body showed signs of injury from the brutal whippings.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the manner and cause of death.

A tearful-sounding Diaja Smith, who is accused alongside Jacoby Robinson in the killing of their 2-year-old son, can be heard telling a 911 operator that her child had gone missing in a recording of the call released by police on Thursday.

“You have to find my baby,” Smith told the operator when she got on the phone. “He’s only 2.”
Police were called on the evening of June 6, when Smith initially reported that her son was missing, according to a Metropolitan Police Department arrest report.

She told police that she had taken her three children to the park and the 2-year-old disappeared when she was changing another child’s diaper, police said.
That evening, a man called 911 from the 702 Mart at 1468 E. Charleston Blvd. He said that a lady had come in saying her child had been kidnapped, according to a recording of the call.
The 911 operator asked to speak with the woman. “They want to speak with you,” the man said to Smith.

Smith, taking the phone, told the officer that her child had been taken from a nearby park around an hour before the call. “He was on the slide,” Smith said. “I turned my back for one minute, and he was gone.”
Surveillance footage showed Smith pushing the boy, Jacoby Jr., in a stroller leaving her apartment complex. The boy was not moving, and Smith was also shown walking in the direction of the dumpster.
“I can’t think right now,” Smith said on the 911 call. “I don’t understand what happened.” Smith told the operator she would wait for Metro officers to arrive at the 702 Mart.

The officer asked Smith what made her think he had been taken rather than running off. “He doesn’t just do that,” Smith said. “I walked around the block just calling his name. He wasn’t nowhere.”
The operator asked if that’s what the delay was, as Smith had waited around an hour to make the call. Smith said yes.
“I can’t breathe,” Smith told the operator before an officer arrived to the store and the call ended.

She and the boy’s father, Robinson, are both facing charges of child abuse or neglect and murder with a deadly weapon, court records show.

This totally sounds like they were wrapping rubber bands around his penis, how do these monsters think of things like this to do?

I remember when my youngest was a newborn finding out that long hair could become wrapped around fingers and toes, never thought of his penis, and could get too tight and become irritated or cause the finger or toe to get gangrenous if not removed. I had long hair at the time and I checked him religiously, afraid that I would hurt him even unknowingly.

And then there's people like this.

Neither of them cared about that baby. What ever happened to him they did it on purpose.

“A detective testified to the grand jury that the three children were previously in foster care, but that Smith regained custody in April, and Child Protective Services closed the case on May 14 — just over three weeks before Jacoby Jr. was killed.”
If you’ve had your children removed and placed in foster care, you shouldn’t have the case closed in a month or less. Ridiculous.
The bitch also had two daughters in Texas removed from her custody.

Pure evil - she has had a total of five children since 2019 all have been in fostercare at some point.

The dick was quick to protect his own interests

In a separate interview with Robinson Sr., he revealed that Smith had previously abused Robinson Jr. in the past using a black belt or black Android charging cord about five times. Robinson Sr. told investigators that he didn't believe in "whooping" his kids, but did admit to sometimes instructing her to do it as punishment.

He noted that on the morning of June 6, he woke up to the mother beating Robinson Jr. and described him screaming at a "high pitch." Robinson Sr. claimed that he had no knowledge that the child had disappeared but said he appeared fine beforehand.

The bio-units of a 2-year-old boy whose body was found in a dumpster will not face the death penalty should a jury convict them.
A death review committee determined the Clark County District Attorney’s Office should not seek the penalty against Jacoby Robinson Sr., 24; and Diaja Smith, 23, prosecutors said during a hearing Thursday.

A Clark County grand jury indicted the parents on murder and child abuse charges last month in the death of their son, Jacoby Robinson Jr.
Police suspect Jacoby died on June 6 before Smith allegedly put his body in a dumpster, documents said. Smith then called 911, claiming Jacoby was missing and that someone took him from a park.

Smith and Robinson share five children, including Jacoby and the two younger siblings, records said. The Clark County Department of Family Services recorded three prior contacts with the family.
Police suspect Smith beat Jacoby and his younger brother with a belt and power cords, documents said. Smith denied ever hitting the children and said Jacoby had suffered a seizure the day before his death, documents said.

Robinson told 8 News Now he heard Smith “whopping” one of their children earlier in the day of Jacoby’s death and told her to stop. Later, Jacoby vomited and that he cared for him in the aftermath, Robinson said.
