"A former Florida Department of Children and Families investigator charged with lying about her activities in a Cape Coral child abuse case has pleaded guilty to four counts of fraud.
Dana Renee Terry, 36, was working as a child protective investigator for the DCF in April 2018 and involved in the case of a young child who had been hurt at a Cape Coral home.
She appeared before Judge J. Frank Porter on Monday and had adjudication withheld with five years of probation. Terry can't be involved in work supervising, investigating or caring for minor children. She was also sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 15 days served."

The woman documented meetings and contacts with several people involved in the abuse case that a later investigation revealed never took place.
