Victoria, British Columbia
On the evening of November 28th 2012, Emma Fillipoff was interviewed by the RCMP in front of the Fairmont Empress, a stately place to vanish. All that is now left of Emma is the contents of her van, her journal and her mother's memories.

From the Wikipedia article
Early on the day of November 28, Fillipoff was captured on a 7-Eleven store video on Government Street purchasing a pre-paid cell phone. The store video showed her hesitating in leaving the store, seemingly checking the street outside. She later hailed a taxi and asked to be taken to the airport, however she left the taxi for lack of adequate fare. Later, she was seen walking barefoot in front of the Empress hotel. Victoria police arrived and spent 45 minutes talking to her. They got her name and decided that she was not a threat to herself or anyone else. They released her and no one has seen her since 7:45 pm that night.
Campbell River Courier-Islander newspaper reported in May 2014 that in Gastown, Vancouver, business owners witnessed a man in their store throwing out a “missing” poster. The store owners reported that it was a $25,000 reward poster for Fillipoff, and that the man said: "It’s one of those missing persons posters, except she’s not missing, she’s my girlfriend and she ran away ‘cause she hates her parents." The owners immediately called the police, and security video captured an image of the man.

If you watch The Fifth Estate's piece, Emma is seen on surveillance at the local YMCA behaving very peculiarly. Have a watch. What do you think? All around Beacon Hill Park are dreamcatchers in the trees, little notes with contact info left by her mother, in hope that someone will know something. I've seen them myself, but have never seen Emma.

Facebook page devoted to finding her.

Man. More weird, creepy stuff. It makes me wonder if it's gonna happen to me one day - all this crazy behavior will make sense, I'll go off the deep end, and my disappearance will be an eternal mystery.

Weird shit.

Maybe you'll be sold into the sex trafficking trade.

Can you have a mystery if nobody in the world gives a shit?
And for you, Jack...my ghostly hands will reach from beyond the grave to deliver a message, a message only you will be able to deliver to the demonites at DD.

The experience will be so harrowing you will, indeed, give a shit.

My mystery is assured.

Thank you, Jack, in advance for all your help.
