A northeast Missouri man is charged with two counts of felony abuse or neglect of a child.
The suspect is Lawrence Ray Heimer, 53, of rural Memphis, Missouri.
Scotland County Sheriff Bryan Whitney told KTVO the underage female victim reported that the incidents happened on January 21, 2021, and February 2, 2021.
According to court documents, Heimer had picked the girl up after school and was taking her to a convenience store to get coffee.
The victim told investigators that Heimer asked to see her breasts.
She said Heimer warned that if she ratted him out, he would stab her to death.
Whitney reports the girl provided the sheriff’s office with a recording of this conversation.
The victim said Heimer told her on February 2 he would take her to get coffee before school only if she showed him her breasts.
Heimer was arrested Wednesday night.
