Alyse Wike & Her Wandering Eye Were At The Tiki Bar When Her 5YO Drowned In Resort Pool

Alyse Wike, 35, has been charged with unlawful neglect of a child. Her daughter, Annalise Baker, 5, was pulled out of a pool at the Sea Crest Resort on June 22, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office. She died at the Medical University of South Carolina on June 23.

Video surveillance showed Baker without a floatation device in the pool area with Wike, the warrant said. On video, Wike is then seen walking away from the 1-foot pool area and going to the Tiki bar on the property. Wike could not see Baker from the bar.

During that time, Baker is seen leaving the 1-foot pool area and entering the large pool, according to the warrant. Baker was in the water for about nine minutes before she was noticed and pulled out by a bystander.
