A Wichita Falls man who was placed on probation for abusing his crying infant son will now spend two years in prison.

78th District Judge Meredith Kennedy granted a motion to revoke Andrew Flickinger’s probation for injury to a child on Thursday, Feb. 15.

When Flickinger made his plea deal in January 2023 for five years probation, a second county of injury to a child was dropped.
Prosecutors said Flickinger violated multiple terms of his probation, including failing to report for several months, allowing his probation officer to visit his home, obtaining a job, and completing community service, among others.

Police said in May 2022, Flickinger’s abuse of the child was recorded on a surveillance camera. In the video, Flickinger cursed at the baby, pinched his nostrils shut, picked him up by the neck, and stuck his finger in the baby’s mouth to stop him from crying. Police also viewed several photographs taken by the victim’s mother of bruising and marks on the baby.
Authorities said when the baby began crying, Flickinger put his left hand around the back of the baby’s neck, lifted the baby out with a jerk, and pulled him toward his face.

When the baby began crying louder, Flickinger pulled the baby closer to his face and could be heard saying, “Shut the expletive up.”
Police said Flickinger also put his forefinger into his baby’s mouth up to his knuckle, causing the baby’s head to jolt forward and muffle the crying.

Mom never allow this man to see the child again.... I would rather she go on public assistance than get child support from this man which might make him seek visitation.

He is already out of prison and is probably already terrorizing another child.

I agree Suga, but if mom’s in a state where should she go on public assistance, the state goes after asshole for CS, so even going on public assistance can be dangerous and dicey for her and her kids. If Kansas (correct me if I’m wrong; just woke up) is one of those states that does that, she’s better off not applying and working hard to get a better life for herself and her children.

there should be a registery for child abusers and domestic violence and not only sex offenders... it should be readily available.... and single moms please please do your homework before introducing a "future" partner to your children...... and yes i had to say also d.v. because one way or another d.v. is abuse on the children even if they never lay a hand on the children (rare) they are abusing the children because the children will think it is normal and the way it is in all families... the girls will find partners like mom's and the boys will emulate the male .... the cycle will never end grrrrrrrrrrrrr....

I used to do background checks for a living. $50 per check is cheaper than the cost of your life or your children's lives!!! Just do it!!! :shifty:
