Muskogee police are investigating after a man and five children died in a shooting early Tuesday morning.

Police say officers arrived to see the suspected shooter holding a gun.

Police say an officer fired one shot at the man as he ran from the area. Officers caught him and arrested him after a short chase.

Once inside the home, officers found a man and four small children dead. A fifth child later died after being life-flighted to a Tulsa hospital. There was also a woman with life-threatening injuries taken to a Tulsa hospital.

So the killer was the father of three of those five kids. I think my guess of "love triangle" was on the money... Mom was no longer with him, so he decided to end her, all 5 of the kids, and her new boyfriend. If he couldn't have her, nobody could. What a monster.

The wounded woman is Brittany Anderson, 27. The murdered man is Javarion Lee, 24, and the accused murderer's brother. The murdered kids are Que'dynce Anderson, 9 years old, Neveah Pridgeon, 6, Harmony Anderson, 5, Jaidus Pridgeon, 3, and Jalaiya Pridgeon, 1. There were three other children in the house at the time but they were not physically injured.

Sara Whaley, a Fox 23 reporter, wrote on the station's Facebook page that Pridgeon was the father of some of the children but she didn't say how many. I've attached a screenshot of that post since they do have a history of disappearing too quickly.

Pridgeon is the father of three of the children who were killed, and the brother of Javarion Lee. The relationship between Anderson and Lee is not yet known; nor is the paternity of the other two children who died. According to the news station, three additional children were in the home and were not hurt.

Police have not yet confirmed if Anderson is the mother of those three children, but a GoFundMe campaign page indicates that Anderson has other children besides the five who were killed.

Police said at a news conference on Wednesday that the suspect is the person who placed the 911 call to report the mass shooting. Pridgeon reportedly entered a plea of not guilty on Wednesday.

So the guy he shot and killed is his own brother?!? Were the injured mom and the brother in a relationship? This is like a bad soap opera.
