A New Port Richey man is accused of dropping a child he was taking care of after overdosing on Friday.

Scott Duguette allegedly injected Dilaudid, a highly-addictive pain reliever, which caused him to overdose while watching a one-year-old and seven-year-old. He also told deputies he had smoked marijuana.

He was holding the one-year-old in his lap at the time of the overdose, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said. He then fell over, dropping the child.

That's when the seven-year-old picked up the younger child and ran to get help, fearing that Duguette was dead.

Neighbors had to give Duguette two doses of Narcan to revive him, authorities said. It was at least his second overdose on the same medication.

Well look here @Sugar Cookie @Keepalowprofile

I wasn't even looking for this but I found it...need Narcan, try Vegas! Can you imagine trying to get this out of a vending machine and it just dangling rather than dropping...wow

Is Narcan now a staple in home first aid kits? A lot more expensive than gauze.
Many places in my area give it out for free.

@Keepalowprofile

I would not know where to get drugs, guns or hoes in my town.
I so do, is that awful? Bad girls are hot, right?

PS-if you DO actually purchase it, it's about 70 dollars for four doses. I've had several free ones, just cuz the opiate epidemic is so severe.
