AFTON, N.Y. -- The Afton woman whom police believed to be missing has been arrested for faking her own kidnapping.

Police spent three days searching for Yvonne Koepke, 23, after she was reported missing last weekend. They found her Wednesday after a car accident in Otsego County. She told police she had been held against her will, but later admitted to lying about the incident.

Koepke is charged with falsely filing an incident and prostitution, both misdemeanors.
