A photo of a suspected Chicago criminal is going viral on X after he gave a menacing smile in his mug shot.

Daily Loud posted the mugshot on their X page yesterday with the caption, 'Chicago man's mugshot is going viral.'

The photo has received more than 16 million views and nearly 150,000 likes on X.

Daily Loud did not release any information about the suspect, and it is unclear if has been tried for his alleged crime.

X users are not sure what happened, but what they overwhelmingly seem to believe he did whatever he was accused of.

'Whatever they said he did HE DID IT,' wrote an X user.
