There are a lot of things in this world that you just can't trust.

The word of a liar, the fidelity of an adulterer, the faith of the faithless.

Can't truss it, as the man said.

You can't trust funeral homes, like Sunset Mesa Funeral Directors, where fright-wig connoisseuress Megan Hess and her mother, "that scamless bitch" Shirley Koch, turned a tidy profit selling body parts that didn't belong to them. Eight years, they pulled their scam, raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars. Some of the bits that they sold were infected, to boot. And there's the matter of hundreds of missing penises, too, and the unexplained fifty-some-odd pounds that Hess has put on over the last eight years.

No, I'm kidding; I made that last part up.

Can't truss it.

You can't trust your friends, at least not if you're Jeremy Whitted. The unkempt NC man was being treated for breathing difficulties after a brouhahah at the Days Inn in Charlotte, and requested that his friend be allowed to join him in the ambulance. When that request was denied, the friend, one Prentice Bess, left, but returned later to shoot Whitted's scruffly ass to death. Friends bustin' caps in your ass? In an ambulance?

Can't truss it.

You can't trust family. Like Chastity Carson, whose three-month-old was shaken so severely that she's blind and needs a feeding tube... of course, Chastity says the couch is to blame. And her boyfriend and baby-daddy believes her, poor sap.

You can't trust strangers. Just ask Jane No-name, whose 7-year-old daughter Amy* was lured away from the toy aisle of a K-Mart in the blink of an eye by a pedo who removed her from the premises, raped her, and then returned her like defective merchandise. You can't trust strangers, and you can't trust store security to keep your kids safe from said strangers, either. Nor the justice system to work properly in the aftermath.

You can't trust the justice system, because it consistently does reprehensible shit like sentencing Amy*'s rapist to a measly eight years, with possibility of parole in two, or releasing Walter-White cheapalike Ross Wollschlager, who is a "sexually violent predator," to roam free with no fixed address in unincorporated Ventura County (California, of course) because now he's somehow "safe to release under a conditional release program." A "conditional release program" administered by private-sector healthcare-management company.

Can't truss it.

And you goddamn sure can't trust crazy people like Latina Marie Oates... and yes, that's her name, not an unnecessary ethnic categorization. She killed her 11-year-old son Josh by "pushing a steel rod through [his] head," (yes, you read that correctly) but maintains that she's "not a violent person," she was "just trying to get a little more time with [her] other children." Coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs... and more lethal than Fruity Pebbles.

Can't motherfuckin' truss it.

But you can trust a kid that says they're scared to go home with Daddy, like 2-year-old Hayden Campbell. Of course, no one listened, and he was fatally injured within five hours.

You can trust a neck-tatted psychopath nick-named Monster to be a monster. He was.

You can trust convicts to fuck up a child molester like Cesar Pastrana, usually fatally... like Cesar Pastrana. They did.

You can trust DNA to trip up scumbag murderers who figured they got away with it years ago, like man-rapist and killer William Swain. It did.

And you can trust the Demon to bring you the finest in Real.Life.Horror. every week, China virus be damned.

We do.
