A toddler and an infant were found alive in a Spotsylvania home where two adults and one teenager were previously found dead Wednesday morning.

Deputies were called to a home after someone found a dead body at around 9 a.m. That person came to the home to check on the people who lived there.

When deputies arrived at the home, they discovered a total of three dead bodies inside the home.

Later, an infant and a toddler were discovered to be alive.

Investigators are calling the deaths “suspicious” in nature.

Authorities have not identified the three victims at this time but did release their ages, 39, 34, and 14 years old. The Medical Examiner’s Office in Richmond will determine the exact cause and manner of death.

What??? Were they not found at the same time as the bodies? Were they not home and came home later? This is a horribly written story

Five suspects have been charged with first-degree murder in the slayings of a teenager and two adults found dead inside a Spotsylvania home last May.

Spotsylvania County Sheriff Roger L. Harris said detectives have been working for 10 months to solve the "heinous triple murder" of 39 year-old Michael Coleman, his girlfriend, 34-year-old Rachel Ozuna, and her 14-year-old son, Kyruss Ozuna.

Investigators previously said the manners of death appeared to be from a sharp instrument. Crime Insider sources said investigators believe the children were spared as they would not be able to explain what they saw.

Harris announced Thursday that five Philadelphia men have been charged with three counts of first-degree murder:
  • James Christopher Myers, 30
  • Durward Anthony Allen, 27
  • Jamal Kelvin Bailey, 30
  • Hugh Cameron Green 30
  • Montel Jaleek Wilson 26
  • Harris said four of the suspects were already behind bars in Pennsylvania on unrelated charges

Five Pennsylvania men were charged Thursday in the horrific throat-slashing murders of a Virginia couple and the woman's 14-year-old son, authorities said.
The victims had their throats slit and authorities believe the murders were premeditated – although they have no motive, the Fredericksburg newspaper reported.

The bodies were discovered by the boy’s father.

For the first time, investigators described the motive for the murders, saying Coleman was a large-scale drug dealer who often had as much as $100,000 in his home. They also found equipment used to package kilo-sized packages of cocaine.
But the judge ruled there is enough probable cause to certify the first-degree murder charges against Durward Allen, Hugh Green and Montel Wilson. They’ll be considered next by a grand jury.
A preliminary hearing is still pending for two other defendants, James Myers and Jamal Bailey.
