Two people slashed in random Manhattan, Bronx attacks

Two people were slashed in random, unprovoked attacks in the Big Apple Saturday — with one victim requiring 16 stitches, cops said.

Victim 1, a 31-year-old man, was on a southbound 2 train in Mott Haven around 11 a.m. when another man approached and snarled, “Keep talking, b—h,” authorities said.

The suspect then pulled out an unspecified “cutting instrument” and slashed the victim in the neck, police said.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he received 16 stitches, cops said.

The suspect is still on the loose.

Hours earlier, around 4:30 a.m., a woman was sliced on her chest and right hand in Hell’s Kitchen, cops said.

The 23-year-old was walking when a man silently approached her from behind and attacked her.

The woman refused medical attention on the scene but received medical care privately at a later time.

The suspect, who fled, remains at large.

Four people injured in three separate shootings across NYC

Four people were injured in three separate shootings across New York City on Saturday night — and one person was attacked and stabbed, the NYPD said.

In Manhattan, two men were stuck by gunfire in front of a building on Madison Avenue just after 10 p.m., police said. Both are expected to survive.

Hours earlier in Brooklyn, a man was attacked in Crown Heights.

The 7:30 p.m. incident was first reported as a shooting, but it was later found that the victim was stabbed, cops said. He was taken to Kings County Hospital in unknown condition as the investigation continued, according to authorities.

In The Bronx, a man was shot just before 7 p.m. in the Melrose section, police said. He was expected to survive.

An hour-and-a-half earlier in Queens, a 21-year-old man was shot in Laurelton, according to the NYPD.

The man said he “heard shots and felt pain,” and transported himself to Jamaica Hospital where he was expected to recover, officials said.

Unhinged man randomly slaps 7-year-old boy in Central Park

An unhinged man randomly slapped a 7-year-old Manhattan boy walking with his parents in Central Park on Saturday afternoon, police and law enforcement sources said.

The family was taking a stroll near Columbus Circle around 4 p.m., when Kevin Cadelina, 33, allegedly wacked the child in the face and knocked him to the ground, according to cops and the sources.

Cadelina, who police consider “emotionally disturbed,” according to sources, tried to flee the scene — but he was restrained by a family member and other parkgoers until the NYPD arrived.

He was charged with assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child, sources said.
