Of course momster's first story to doctors & police was the classic 'the stairs did it!'.
But the cracked skull, bruised liver & burns over her enitire body, told a different story.
Mom has been charged with child abuse, which police say will be upgraded to murder if baby girl doesn't pull through. They're saying it will be 'a miracle if she survives, the injuries are just that bad".

A 23-month-old girl is on life support and her mother behind bars charged with child abuse... police said is one of the worst cases they've ever seen.

Shalae Lewis, 32, was charged last week with felony child abuse after an investigation led to Lewis reportedly confessing to repeatedly abusing her daughter.

"She had old injuries that had healed, like a fractured rib that healed, a bruised liver and burns to her entire body," Lt. Kenneth Stampley said.

The toddler suffered severe head trauma, including a cracked skull and a brain hemorrhage, after allegedly being thrown or pushed down a flight of stairs by Lewis, police said.

"I would say it would be a miracle if the child survives," Stampley said. "The injures are just that bad. She sustained serious life-threatening injuries."

Lewis is being held on a $1 million bond.

Another WTF detail in this article is that supposedly momster's motive for beating her baby nearly to death is: Baby's daddy recently ended their relationship, so she took her anger out on the baby because 'she reminded her of the ex-boyfriend'

Poor baby. Yeah, like viciously attacking/abusing your not yet two year old is going to change anything for the better. Her mother actually looked into her daughters eyes and at some point she reduced her to nothing more than a retaliatory tool.

A judge sentenced Shalae Lewis to serve 30 years in prison.

Authorities said in September 2016, Lewis claimed the 23-month-old baby girl fell from a flight of stairs. The infant was flown to University of Mississippi Medical Center, and it was later reported the child had a hemorrhage on the brain, a cracked skull, broken ribs and burn marks on her legs.

She later confessed to harming the baby after further investigation by the Natchez Police Department.
