Olin Gregory Weitzel was arrested Thursday in connection to a 2017 child abuse that left a 3-month-old boy in critical condition.

Court documents obtained by ABC15 reveal that on June 30, 2017 Weitzel was holding his 3-month-old son when he tripped and fell in his apartment.

He took the child to an Urgent Care and was told the baby was fine and was given Tylenol for the pain.

Based on this, Weitzel's wife continued with her planned trip to Las Vegas.

The baby was still in pain the next day and was taken to Phoenix Children’s Hospital where doctors found a skull fracture and several other fractures in various state of healing.

Medical staff contacted police and reported that the boy was in extremely critical condition with a skull fracture, brain swelling, shoulder and rib fractures, and bruising.

How is it an attempt to commit when the baby ended up in critical condition.

Just like a sex offender registry there should be registries for animal and child abusers that civilians have access to.

Because some dummy in the future that wants to date him might not know the severity of abuse the baby was subjected to.
