Prosecutors said witnesses identified Passmore, saying he was home alone with Breaunna at the time of the shooting. Witnesses said they could hear loud yelling from inside the house before the shooting.
At the time of
his arrest, officers found a handgun and ammunition in Passmore's backpack that matched forensic evidence collected from the scene, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said Passmore waived his rights and
confessed to shooting Breaunna with the same gun because he was upset with her mother.
