Couple Drop Injured Baby Off At Family Member's Home, Charged With Abuse

Kentucky State Police responded to a call about a two-month-old infant whose parents had dropped the baby off at a family member's home with severe injuries.

The family member lives in Salem, Indiana, and took the infant to the hospital immediately due to the child's condition. The infant was air-lifted to a children's hospital in Louisville.

After a joint investigation, KSP arrested 21-year-old Aurora Hamilton and 18-year-old Benjamin Reale, both of Smiths Grove.

Hamilton and Reale were charged with criminal abuse and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Lisa and Bryce Hamilton have taken in this sweet baby after he was being neglected and abused. They already have 4 children at home and didn't give it a second thought on taking him in as their own!

Breanna and I are setting up this account for Lisa and Bryce to help them out in any way they need.

He's in Hospital fighting for his life. After being Severely Physically Abused and Starved. He's 2 1/2 mo. Old. Weighs 4 lbs. Please Pray for him everytime you think of him. Thank You!!!

He still has a long way to go, HE WAS NEAR DEATH WHEN RESCUED!

Dr.s say he will prob be there for about a month.

THIS FAMILY NEEDS ALOT OF PRAYERS AND SUPPORT.

He was in Horrific condition when delivered to the Hamiltons. You can see the pain he's in by the first few pics. He had 2 broken legs , 4 broken ribs, head Injury, had only been fed tap water. So Dehydrated his little heart quit after the flight to hospital.

This has all happened so fast, they were totally unprepared and have nothing to care for him. Anything will be greatly appreciated. Just a trip to hospital is a 2 hour round trip., and of course they want to be with him as much as they can!
