Sentenced: Memphis Woman Accused Of Dragging Boyfriend With Car, Shooting Him In Head

A Memphis woman is facing charges for attempted murder after police say she shot her boyfriend during a violent argument over the weekend.

Memphis police responded around 2 p.m. Sunday where they found the victim lying in the parking lot with what appeared to be a gunshot to his jaw and severe bleeding.

According to the police report, witnesses saw the victim and his girlfriend Julion Saunders arguing. He reached in through the passenger window to grab some items and she closed the window, trapping his arm and dragging him with the car.

WMC reported, witnesses told police he was running through the lot when they heard a gunshot, then saw him lying on the ground bleeding from the head.

MPD says Saunders drove away from the scene but called 911 saying she shot her boyfriend. Officers took her into custody at another location and recovered the gun from her car, according to the report.

The Memphis woman is booked into jail on a $250,000 bond.

Trapping his arm with the car window and dragging him with your car... then shooting him in the face...

Yeah... ummm... unless what he was reaching for was the gun that you used to shoot him, that is just unbelievably stupid.

Obviously, they didn't specify what it was he was reaching into the car to grab though the passenger window... maybe it was a phone or... I dunno, whatever... but if the value of the item(s) isn't at least equal to you goin' to jail for God knows how many years on an attempted first degree murder charge + an additional charge of using a firearm during a dangerous felony... plus ALL of the fines & fees you're gonna get slapped with... as well as all of the problems & restrictions you're going to face after you're eventually released... if whatever he was reaching for wasn't worth ALL of that bullshit, then yup... that was a stupid, stupid ass move.

And even if he was reaching for the gun... once you've got his arm trapped in the window.... and you start driving, just lower the damn window and accelerate. The car pulls away from him... he falls to the ground... you're safe and putting more and more distance between the two of you by the second... AND... (..here's the important part..)... you're not facing all of these criminal charges & consequences.

Oh well... I suppose you could say that if it wasn't for stupid people doing stupid things, we wouldn't have a whole Hell of a lot to talk about on this forum... so... we've got that going for us, at least.
