Ali, knocked out four of the boy’s teeth, before punching another woman and assaulting a second child who tried to intervene. A court heard Ali launched the attack on August 27 at a property in Worcester after attempting to choke a chicken to death earlier that day.
Prosecutor Olivia-May Appleby said Ali ‘rained kicks and punches down’ upon the boy, and left him needing extensive dental surgery.
The judge, who viewed photos of the injuries, said the boy may well suffer a lifetime of difficulties with his teeth.
Miss Appleby said Ali ‘smirked’ during a police interview, and described him as ‘heavy in self-pity but lacking in genuine remorse’.
Ali pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm and two counts of assault by beating. Jailing him for three years.
Ali was also given a restraining order, preventing any direct or indirect contact with all three victims. He will serve half of his three year sentence in custody before being released on licence.
