Robert Michalski

Ashland County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a mother and two men after a child was attacked by a pit bull while handcuffed.
The 6-year-old was bit on the neck and ear. The child was flown to a hospital for treatment.

Deputies said the boy was restrained with handcuffs on his hands and feet when he was attacked by the dog.
The boy’s mother, Angelina Williams; her boyfriend, Taylor Desiree Marvin-Brown; and the owner of the dog, Robert Michalski; were all arrested and taken to the Ashland County jail. Charges are pending.

JFC what in the living dead is that?!
Those are pretty significant burn injuries so I did some investigating. I have no idea if this is how he was burned, but Michalski was in a bad car accident in 2021 and someone in another vehicle was killed in the accident.

Or maybe he burned while cooking meth or something

There was a boy around here when I was in high school that fell into a bonfire and his looks were horrific. He was burned head to toe. I was working at K-mart and his family would come in and he was wrapped like a mummy with a mask on, I guess those were the compression bandages, people would clear the way and stare and mumble under their breath about him. I felt so sorry for him, he was just a kid, 9-10 years old and I cannot imagine having that happen to anyone.

I'd feel sorry for this guy except he's chosen to be a child abusing asshole.

A 28-year-old mother in Ohio will spend several decades behind bars after she "bragged" and "Snapchatted" about handcuffing her 6-year-old son's hands and feet before a large pit bull "used him as a chew toy," nearly killing the boy.
Ashland County Common Pleas Court Judge Dave Stimpert on Monday ordered Angelina Williams to serve the maximum sentence of up to 28 1/2 years in a state correctional facility for permitting the horrific mauling of her child.

Williams previously pleaded guilty to multiple counts of kidnapping and endangering children.
Two of Williams' co-defendants have also been convicted of crimes in connection to the incident. Last week, Robert Michalski Jr. — who owned the dog as well as the home where the attack took place — was found guilty on multiple criminal charges, including two counts of complicity to commit endangering children and one count of tampering with evidence.

Taylor Marvin-Brown, described by prosecutors as Williams' "paramour," in April pleaded guilty to one count of obstructing justice and three counts of complicity in commission of a felony for kidnapping and endangering children.
Williams read a prepared statement — becoming emotional at times — as she explained that she understood that her children would "probably haunt them for the rest of their lives," which she said she would "never" forgive herself for.
Despite Williams agreeing to plead guilty to multiple felonies, prosecutors remained steadfast that the inhumane malevolence of her crimes still called for her sentences to be served consecutively.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Matthew Metcalf emphasized that the victim and his 8-year-old sister were only with their mom — who does not have legal custody over them — for a two-week stay when the horrific incident took place.

He said that when the children did not want to pick up "dog feces in the yard," they would be "handcuffed and tied to chairs."

"Handcuffed at their ankles; handcuffed at their wrists," he said. "It's unfathomable as far as egregiousness. I think it's probably the worst form of the offense you could have."
Speaking of the abuse, Metcalf said that Williams was the "most involved" of the three defendants, saying that she even "Snapchatted pictures of the children tied up."

"To me, that's the worst," the prosecutor said. "That's an understanding of 'not only am I doing this, but I'm kind of proud of it.'"
Stimpert was unwavering in siding with prosecutors, taking the opportunity to lambaste Williams for the harm she caused her own children.

Mom's boyfriend is a female.

A 30-year-old in Ohio will spend several years behind bars for their role in abusing a 6-year-old boy, which culminated in the child being handcuffed and mauled by a dog, leaving him with a series of severe and permanent physical injuries.
Ashland County Common Pleas Court Judge Dave Stimpert on Monday reluctantly ordered Taylor Marvin-Brown to serve 10 years in a state correctional facility, far fewer years than he handed down to the victim's mother earlier this month.
Given the chance to address the court, Marvin-Brown apologized for her role in the horrific crimes and the pain that she caused, saying she had "no excuse."

"I should have stepped up and said something," she said, choking back tears. "That day will be with me forever."

During Monday's sentencing hearing, prosecutors immediately stated that they and defense counsel had agreed to recommend a 10-year prison sentence for Marvin-Brown. Noting that the judge likely would disagree with the apparently lenient sentence, Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Matthew Metcalf said that after the trio were arrested, Marvin Brown was "the most honest with law enforcement," was on the 911 call seeking medical assistance for the victim, and attempted to provide life-saving measures on the victim.
Marvin-Brown was also the first to reach out to the State and agree to provide a statement about what happened to the victim.

"She did everything we asked of her as part of our agreement, because of that, I'm asking the court to honor our agreement," Metcalf said, adding that she provided "useful information" to the investigation.

I am interested in what prison this person will end up in a mans or women's prison.

"Probably"?!

How lacking in empathy do you have to be to not only do this to your own child, but be proud/unashamed enough to post it for others to see?!

You would think that since the “mum” does not have custody and the child was visiting that she would have done everything she could so that the child had a good time and would want to return. That’s horrible!! I can’t imagine reading that online and not being totally disappointed and disgusted that someone thought that they should be proud of that!!?

Our girl does not seem to happy and that makes me smile.

A third person indicted after a 6-year-old boy was handcuffed and mauled by a pit bull has been sentenced to prison.
Robert Michalski Jr., 48, of Savannah, the owner of the dog, was indicted in Ashland County Common Pleas Court in September 2024 on several felony counts, including complicity and tampering with evidence.
A jury in June convicted him of two counts of complicity and the tampering charge and acquitted him of four other charges, court records show. A judge sentenced him on Tuesday, July 22, to a total of nine years in prison. He’ll also be on probation for one to three years upon release.
