A three year old boy was burned on his lower back and buttocks area during a visit with his biological father, Daniel Clark Hess, and his step mother, Summer Lee Hess.

The child's mother became aware of the burns after he was returned to his care and immediately sought treatment for the child.

Daniel Clark Hess and Summer Lee Hess have been arrested and charged with child abuse.
