The woman charged in the abduction of two Louisiana girls that ended with one of them dead in South Jackson pleaded guilty.

Victoria Cox appeared in Hinds County Circuit Court on Monday, Nov. 24, where she pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and kidnapping. Cox had been indicted on capital murder, kidnapping and sexual battery.
Cox changed her plea to guilty before her trial, which was scheduled to begin Dec. 8.

Judge Winston Kidd sentenced Cox, who was fighting tears, to 40 years for murder and 25 years for kidnapping. The sentences will run concurrently.

She and Daniel Callihan were arrested in 2024 after Erin Brunett and her sister were kidnapped from Louisiana after their mother was murdered. Cox told Kidd that she didn't know Callihan did not have permission to take the children from Louisiana to Mississippi.

"I wanted to get away, but I couldn't," Cox said. "If I could change it all, I would. But I can't."

It's actually "literally" a legitimate mental illness and specified in the DSM-5. I strongly suspect your little feelings got hurt by a Borderline at some point in time, and therefore you should probably seek therapy for your bruised ego instead of encouraging the negative stigma associated with BPD simply because pinecones like yourself can't wrap your mediocre IQs around a disorder you're extremely fortunate to not suffer with.
Instead of victimizing yourself for having BPD, the original comment you’re responding to has a point. It is very possible to overcome BPD with introspection and actively working on changing one’s behavior, by rewiring the brain and making new patterns instead of remaining comfortable in your old ones and allowing oneself to become consumed by the unfavorable characteristics of BPD. Also like the original commenter said, meds won’t help, the only thing that will is self reflection and wanting to change for the better. Stop playing victim, if you want to change bad enough you will or own it and accept it about yourself, but don’t try to justify it and play the victim card. If you don’t want to change or want to sign it off as a mental illness that has no cure, then remain the victim who lives a life choosing deception over truth. which there is always an underlying reason that can be worked out and dealt with once the root cause is identified. It’s easier said than done, but not impossible, you just have to truly want it and take action to overcome it.

Victoria Cox was sentenced to a total of 60 years in prison on several charges, including accessory after the fact to attempted first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping of a child and attempted aggravated kidnapping of a child.
The time will be served concurrent the the time Cox was sentenced for in Mississippi.

Cox accepted a plea deal earlier this month that included dropping two felony charges of first-degree murder and second-degree kidnapping.
Cox has already pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and kidnapping in Hinds County Circuit Court and was sentenced to 40 years for murder and 25 years for kidnapping. The sentences will run concurrently.

Cox and Daniel Callihan were arrested in 2024 after 4-year-old Erin Brunett and her 6-year-old sister were kidnapped from Louisiana after their mother was murdered.

Police found the girls behind a South Jackson house. Erin was dead. Cox said she didn't know why Callihan took the girls.

Seriously though are you that dense and fooled by the pharmaceutical company? Apparently, there still are a lot of people who are. People need to realize they have a choice to be enslaved by their own minds as well as being dependent on a substance for the rest of their lives for something they can do the work to eliminate within themselves with their own will/mind power. Before you go on about everyone is different, you’re right, but in the sense that some people have a stronger mindset and will to want to change something they don’t desire about themselves than others. I guess I fall into that category, after recognizing something was off, I learned I had symptoms of BPD, I became self aware of when I would be triggered as a result I actively sought out a solution to nip that shit in the butt real quick. Mine was caused by PTSD though I nipped that in the butt real quick as well. Do some research on the solution to your disorders rather than only understanding your symptoms. It should do you well.

Hi @Huntrix88 - I wanted to let you know that @AliCatClick doesn't come around that much anymore. And she hasn't for a couple of years. This might be wasted effort on your part. Anyway, just an FYI. :shame:

Nah I'm still here lurk'n, occasionally comment here & there. I generally don't interact with assholes, though (especially not the fake-experts-on-a-high-horse-type; like ol' huntrix there), hence my intermittent periods of being off/on MIA. But mostly because life's bein a MFr. I've been sporadically active like that since DD was in it's early stages. I see you post'n stories whenever I need my true crime fix & come here, you're like 1 of the busiest accts lol prolly why you seem to miss me when I come? My best guess anyway ‍♀️ Hope you're doin well regardless.

A man and woman who allegedly raped a child and kept her captive in a pit with her dead sister may get plea deals.
JFC I wish I could unread this.

And I wish assholes would stop blaming their mental illness for shit that clearly had nothing to do with it. BPD does not make you murder people, abduct and rape kids or anything like that. People with mental illness are far more like to be victims of violence. These sick fucks just like to rape kids.

And there's only one cure for that particular trait.
