37-year old Roland Dial III was charged with rape of a child after the MNPD Domestic Violence Division took the statement of a 14-year-old child who said he raped her 20-30 times over a 5-year span, beginning when she was 9-years-old.

On September 5th, a Metro Nashville Police Officer interviewed a 14-year-old child at the Metro Nashville Police Department Domestic Violence Division.

The victim disclosed to the officer that she had been raped by Roland Dial III 20-30 times since she was 9. The occurrences included penile/vaginal penetration and took place at his residence. This abuse took place over the course of 5 years and the child is now 14 years of age.
