do they now?? street ones just go with anyone cuz they need to get the money for their pimps or drug habit.. high paid ones no sure how they work but have to be working for someone or "rent" themselves out to sugar daddies and again yuck with what some of them put up with ... and some supposedly high paid ones are not always safe for the clients.. where as, if in, licensed some workers would have regulars and any half was priced ones would have a clients list etc and all would be safe from stds or contacted as soon as someone was diagnosed with one ... and yes if taxed the people wouldn't have to pay for anyone picked up on pros. charges' lawyers fee, jail time , meals ect and gov would be making money also

yes i do know some who had had to do just that or be strippers cuz they pay was good ... some of them were badly beaten (both young women and young men) but, in my opinion, if they could have had the protection of a safe place of employment the physical pain they endured wouldn't have happened also they wouldn't have had to always look over their shoulder so that they weren't picked up by the cops ... up to just a few years ago their "clients" were not arrested but they sure were and charged with prostitution , the "client" was never "shamed" but they sure were if it was discovered that they had to do that kind of "work" to be able to further their education ...
