After trying to suppress the statement for months, Tessier's team conceded Friday on the record and in open court that "it was voluntarily made."

In exchange, the state agreed not to play the tape for jurors, "but reserves the right to argue it at trial" if Tessier takes the stand in his own defense and denies he said it.

The trial is still on track to begin Sept. 4. Prosecutors told the judge it's expected to last two weeks.

Just before the victim was killed she contacted the other woman to compare notes. Unless that woman is completely desperate or mentally deficient she ran for the hills. I think it would be in the news if she was loyal, that kind of creepy human interest angle always comes out.

The fat-fuck hung himself on the first day of his trial!

Murder suspect Tyler Tessier was found dead in his cell Thursday morning in an apparent suicide.

The jury was to be seated Thursday in the trial in the death of 31-year-old Howard County teacher Laura Wallen.

The Maryland man is accused of shooting his pregnant girlfriend to death and burying her body last year. The body was found in Damascus one week after she disappeared.

According to a timeline released by Montgomery County corrections officials, Tessier was awoken at 4 a.m., then took a shower until around 4:15 a.m. He went back to his cell to dress and was seen there at 4:36. Breakfast was served at 4:45. During the next round 10 minutes later, he was found hanging in his cell. Corrections officials say he had tied a bedsheet around the edge of the top bunk. The corrections officer untied Tessier's neck and tried to revive him. EMS took over life-saving measures at 5:13 a.m., and ceased resuscitation efforts at 5:32 a.m. when he could not be revived.
