A woman slashed an infant’s throat and told the father "I killed your baby", a horrified neighbour claims.

The shocked resident told how a woman dressed all in black was led away in handcuffs by police called to a home in Wembley, north-west London.

The baby - said to be eight-months-old - was pronounced dead at the scene when officers and paramedics arrived shortly before 10am on Wednesday.

Police have arrested a woman on suspicion of murder and said everyone involved "was known to each other" and detectives aren't looking for anyone else.

Ms Sidorova, a mental health worker, said she made coffee for one woman who explained what happened.

She claimed: "She said a lady killed her baby - eight-months-old - for no reason.

"The lady who I made coffee for said that the mother killed the baby, cut the neck and called to the husband and said 'I killed your baby'."

OMG what the hell is wrong with people . Why hurt a child? any child, even less so one you carried and nurtured. If you are that peed off at your ex or present partner just walk the hell away and unless your partner is/was and abuser then hate him/her as much as you want BUT remember that without that partner your children would never have been born so respect them as a mother/father and NEVER use your children to get even with your ex. If it was the mother what the hell is wrong with her? did she hate his half of that baby more than she loved her half of that baby?

A woman has been arrested after she allegedly murdered her eight-month-old baby by 'cutting its throat' while horrified neighbors heard the screams. The woman, who has not been identified, was dressed in black as she was led away by police in handcuffs on July 22 in Wembley, north-west London, according to a local. The neighbor told Daily Mail that the woman screamed at officers as she was arrested. Meanwhile, the baby's father was reportedly "hysterical." All parties involved were known to each other, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police told the British newspaper. They did not divulge further information.
Sidorova continued, "They were looking so friendly, all of them. There were seven or eight people living there, more than one family. I would see them and speak with them. Sometimes children came and I allowed them to pick blackberries. I was shocked. I work as a nurse in a house for people with mental health problems so I see people with those problems, but I never saw anything strange or suspicious," she added.

A mother was suffering from insanity when she killed her five-month-old son, an Old Bailey jury has found.

Mariam Benzain said she was instructed by Allah to sacrifice her son Elias Biad when she cut the baby's throat.

The 32-year-old admitted killing her baby at the family home in Preston Road, Wembley, on 22 July 2020.
Jurors decided she was not guilty of murder by reason of insanity and she will be detained in a psychiatric hospital without limit of time.
The judge, Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb, said: "In my judgment you remain extremely ill, dangerous and in need of further treatment which is available."
The court previously heard Benzain, who also has two school-age children from a previous marriage in her native Morocco, had previously suffered postnatal depression, and was considered to be bipolar

Prosecutor Zoe Johnson QC told the court that Benzain was "suffering from a disease of the mind" at the time of the attack, the symptoms of which were "grandiose delusions and instructive, auditory hallucinations telling her she needed, in effect, to sacrifice her son to save the world".
Ms Johnson said: "Shortly before 9am, the defendant called her husband - she told him that she had killed their son. She said: 'I slaughtered Elias ... Allah told me to slaughter him."'
The court heard Benzain later told a doctor her actions had been "on the spur of the moment", and that she "received thoughts from Allah" that she had to kill Elias in order to "go to heaven".

Ms Johnson said: "She strongly believed that she had not committed a crime but had acted for humanity's benefit.

"She did not believe that she was mentally unwell or needed any help."
