OAK HILL, W.Va. — A North Carolina man is facing attempted murder charges after two police officers overdosed during a traffic stop in Fayette County.

Keith Deshon Adams was arrested Tuesday night in Oak Hill. Adams was pulled over by Oak Hill police just before 6 p.m. near C. Adam Toney Tires and then fled on foot toward U.S. Route 19.

Adams is accused of throwing a bag believed to be opiate narcotics into the officers’ faces. During the struggle, two officers collapsed and began overdosing on the drug.

An off-duty nurse and other citizens that were passing by at that time helped render aid to the officers and administered the opioid reversal drug Narcan.

I bet that was pretty fucking scary for everyone there. Except the drug throwing asshole.

Just imagine being high out of your mind but not on purpose and nothing you can do about it. yuck.

He deserves the charges. Make an example of him so this doesn't become the new thing people do all the time.

Announce a bag of fentanyl then throw it.

You’ll get the same reaction spitting blood everywhere and screaming “I got AIDS!”

Of course, those cops could’ve thought it was good cocaine. Did a big bump and quickly realized they were going down instead of up.

I have the same amount of trust in the police as I do a junkie.

Crazy story. I am theorizing that the drug was a granular, dusty type of drug, and that the police would have breathed in the dust via inhalation, both through the nostrils and mouth.

Moral repugnance aside, the suspect's actions were a pretty good battle tactic that really helped him save some time to regroup himself before his eventual arrest.

(apologies for the poor video quality; this is from "The Gang Wrestles for the Troops", s5ep7)

I read something about officers "overdosing". It might be mass hysteria of the police thinking they've overdosed. Some are so hypersensitive to drug use, if they believe they are in contact(drugs on skin) with drugs, they unconsciously think they are overdosing and act accordingly. Alot of officers that overdosed, were tested and no drugs were found in their systems.

This has happened at least once, if I'm not imagining it.

Police and other first responders are the second-most susceptible group for psychogenic illness. The only group that beats them out is teenaged girls.

Fuck face here must’ve played too much The Last of Us. He did the equivalent of what a bloater does when attacking: pulling off a Cordyceps sac off its body and chucking it at his opponent, except fuckface here used drugs. Hope those officers are okay.
