A Kansas elementary school teacher has been found guilty of stalking a 10-year-old student and taking hundreds of videos and photos of the girl’s legs and butt.

James Loganbill, 58, was convicted after his victim told the court she still had nightmares and was “scared of men” in the wake of the shocking ordeal, the Kansas City Star reports.

Loganbill, who was arrested in June last year, was teaching at Meadow Lane Elementary School at the time.

The girl’s friends reported to the principal that they’d seen Loganbill taking photos of the fourth-grade student.

He then admitted to police that he was “obsessed” with the girl – especially when she wore black leggings in class.

Investigators alleged Loganbill had taken 230 photos and 31 videos of the girl between August 2019 and March 2020.

The photos and videos were taken on the teacher’s phone and school-issued iPad, police said.

Loganbill resigned a day after the principal received the complaint about him.

He later retired after three decades working within the Olathe school district.

During his trial, the victim told the court: “It makes me kind of scared of men now, just in general.”

Freaking gross. He's obsessed with a 10-year-old, and took way too much footage of her. Anyone want to blame the 10-year-old for the "clothes she was wearing" that "provoked him to do that"?

No. Please, hopefully no. She's an innocent child and, even if she were an adult, there is no reason for anyone to do this to her. And anyone who'd want to victim-blame the girl and deflect from how truly demented this man in a position of trust was to her is absolute garbage.

I hope the best for the 10-year-old girl, and that she can recover from this, and eventually keep it in a rarely used filing cabinet in her mind. It can be pretty hard for trauma survivors to compartmentalize and move on from stuff like this, I know.

My twelve year old told me that one of her friends noticed a male teacher staring at her and looking at her legs in leggings and covered her with a hoodie.. she said she's super nervous about him looking at her legs and that it was 'weird'.. I had to remind her monsters and bad people can look like teachers and moms and dads.. to let me know if he said something weird, touched her or wouldn't leave her alone.. it was definitely inappropriate and those are the things you watch for.. so now they secretly stalk him to see what or who he's looking at.. weirdo..

Good for your baby and friends! I bet he’s so arrogant he has no clue he’s on the local junior high neighborhood RSO watch!

Some thoughts on this discussion, not this specifically this story, but I'll try to tie everything together...

I totally get it that men can be physically attracted to younger females. I have 3 kids (11 girl, 13 boy, and 15 girl). I'd be lying if I said when I picked up my oldest on Friday at the home football game and didn't initially think, more than once, holy crap, I wish I could be in HS again! But it's not real and I know it. Kind of like the movie American Beauty. It's one thing to desire the nubile cheerleader, it's another when you realize they are a young, naïve, basically kid trying to figure out how everything works. These are kids that may have the most desirable body type for people aged 18-25. At the end of the day it's who they are, not who they look like that matters. I think the majority of people understand this, but there are some that don't or choose not to.

My oldest no longer likes to go to the pool. She says that she doesn't like how "men" notice her and look at her. I get it and I don't push her to go. That's where it comes full circle. Have I ever looked at someone in a way that make them feel uncomfortable? I really don't think so. It's something that I think is unique to girls becoming women. There is a very much more noticeable time/difference where things have physically changed that you really can't say there is a comparable change with males. I've heard from numerous women that (relative, coach, teacher, priest, etc.) never seemed to really notice them until they "got breasts".

Circle back to this specific story, the girl was freaking 10. None of what I just said applies to her.

Can we make this prize more modern... barbware dildo, yes the machete can be the dildo.. anyone remember the movie Barbwire, I remember it being good, then again I was a horny teen then.. probably gotta rewatch for nostalgic purposes, better being a sock.
Yes! I know exactly which film you're talking about. A western-influenced nostalgia trip for people who grew up in previous decades, it is a very gritty film about an utterly lawless town with seedy characters being shot at and getting the crap beaten out of them by a swooning and sexy and well-proportioned lead actor...

That is the film you were referencing, correct? How can anyone not find themselves stimulated by his hat?
