OKLAHOMA CITY —
The mystery into what happened to a 52-year-old Oklahoma City woman who was last seen about a week ago is growing.

Police said Susan Freehauf's boyfriend, David Shores, is not cooperating with detectives, who are trying to find her body. According to an arrest warrant that was filed Tuesday, detectives said they believe Shores killed Freehauf sometime in the past week at an apartment they shared at Southwest 22nd Street and Meridian Avenue.

Neighbor Brandon Grisko, who lives next door to the couple, said he heard the two fighting in recent weeks.

"They were just right outside here yelling at each other," Grisko said. "My guess is they were just fighting a lot."

Court documents stated detectives found several blood stains on the carpet and blood on the wall inside the couple's apartment. They also found wipe marks and bleach inside the unit.

Detectives also found it unusual that no clothes were found inside the apartment, which was supposed to be inhabited by two people.

Another warrant, which was issued Wednesday, revealed that before being arrested, Shores withdrew $200 from an ATM using Freehauf's bank cards. He also had her ID and cash, the warrant stated.

Detectives are now using the evidence and other searches, such as the one conducted at a storage unit at 10th Street and Meridian Avenue, to try to solve the mystery.

Arrest warrant for first-degree murder filed as police search for missing OKC woman

OKLAHOMA CITY —
An arrest warrant for first-degree murder has been filed in connection with the Oklahoma City Police Department's search for a 52-year-old woman who has not been seen in almost a week.

Susan Louise Freehauf was last seen Thursday and was reported missing by her employer after she did not show up for work Monday, police officials said. According to the arrest warrant, Freehauf's employer tried several times since Thursday to contact her.

The employer told investigators that it was unusual for Freehauf not to show up for work and not be available to be contacted by phone, according to the warrant.

On Monday, one of Freehauf's co-workers went to her apartment in the 4300 block of Southwest 22nd Street out of concern, the warrant stated. The co-worker told police that when she arrived the apartment door was open and a man who identified himself as "David" was inside.

The co-worker reported that she knew the name as one of Freehauf's friends.

The man told Freehauf's co-worker that she suffered a medical episode in Broken Arrow and was at a Tulsa hospital, according to court documents. He also said he was at the apartment to grab some clothes for Freehauf, but couldn't remember which hospital she was at, the arrest warrant stated.

Later in the day Monday, the employer called Freehauf's cellphone again, this time David answered, saying she was at a Tulsa hospital, according to the documents. An Oklahoma City Police Department detective also called Freehauf's phone, and David answered again.

David gave the investigator several last names and dates of birth, so the officer was not able to confirm any of the information David provided.

David then agreed to meet the investigator at a store but never showed up, the warrant stated. When the investigator called Freehauf's cellphone again, it went straight to voicemail, according to court documents.

Around 6:20 p.m. Monday, the officer saw a vehicle matching the description of Freehauff's car near Reno and Meridian avenues. The officer approached the driver, who identified himself as David Shores.

Shores had Freehauf's Florida driver's license, two debit bank cards with her name on them and an ATM receipt for a $200 withdrawal from a bank account that matched one of her debit cards, according to the arrest warrant. Shores was arrested on outstanding warrants and was taken to the Oklahoma City Police Department's Homicide Office, court documents state.

The officer called several hospitals in the Tulsa and the Oklahoma City area, but none reported having a Susan Freehauf as a patient, according to the court documents.

While searching Freehauf's apartment complex, neighbors told the investigator that Freehauf and Shores had lived together for several months.

During a search of Freehauf's apartment, officers found several large blood stains on the living room carpet and pad, according to court documents. One of the stains was so big that it had not dried and went through the carpet and to the concrete slab below, the warrant stated.

Blood was also found on the living room wall, on a vacuum, in the bathtub and in the washing machine, the court documents stated. Officers also found large bleach spots on the carpet and wipe marks on the wall.

Detectives also noted that no clothes were inside the apartment despite the fact that two people were living there, according to the court documents.

Although Freehauf has not been found, investigators believe she has died based on the blood evidence and apparent clean-up attempt inside the apartment, the arrest warrant stated.

Based off Shore's actions, his statements and the fact that he had several of her possessions on him, detectives believe he is responsible for Freehauf's apparent death.

Anyone with information on Freehauf's whereabouts is asked to call police.

Fighting with bf.
Bf not cooperating.
Hmmm gonna go out on a limb here and say it was an illegal alien with ties to MS-13, Windows98 and Heinz 57.
or ya know...
the bf too.
Either way she is dead.

Shot himself in the foot right out of the gate by lying about her being in hospital, having her bank cards, withdrawing money, etc. etc.

BTW, sounds to me like the mystery surrounding her dissapearance has diminished given what has come out.

David Shores was found guilty of first-degree murder and possession of a stolen credit card.
Shores was accused of violently killing his girlfriend, Susan Freehauf, in September 2018. Though her body was never found, investigators zeroed in on Shores.
During the trial last week, prosecutors presented jurors with security footage showing Shores loading boxes and bags from Freehauf’s car into an Oklahoma City storage unit.
The spots were confirmed to be blood and a DNA analyst determined the blood was from Freehauf. Investigators think Shores tried to clean up the blood.
The medical examiner testified the blood stains were consistent with a serious injury that could have led to death.
