A pregnant teenager, her mother and 12-year-old brother were found murdered in a gruesome scene in Alabama, in what investigators believe was a premeditated and calculated killing.

Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch told local TV station WALA that deputies found a mother and child stabbed and a pregnant teenager shot inside a Wilmer, Alabama, home on Monday. However, the teen's 18-month-old child was inside the home uninjured.

Officials identified the victims as 46-year-old Lisa Fields, 17-year-old Keziah Luker and 12-year-old Thomas Cordelle Junior.

According to the sheriff, investigators believe multiple people entered the house and tied up the victims in separate rooms.

“They had a plan when they came in,” Burch said during a press conference Monday. “All of the victims had their hands bound behind them with zip ties or flex cuffs."
Once the victims were subdued, officials said the perpetrators began killing them.

“The mother was stabbed, the 17-year-old was shot, and the 12-year-old’s throat was cut as was the mom,” Burch said. “It tells me that they had a plan coming in to bring zip ties or flex cuffs with them, so they had a plan.”

"The 12-year-old was almost decapitated. And so it was a brutal scene, and I hope and feel comfortable we'll have this animal, or animals, off the street soon," Burch described.

The father of the teen's unborn child became concerned when the teen was not answering his calls. He sent a family member to check on her and that is when the tragedy was discovered.

WHY???

What could they have possibly known or possessed to cause this kind of brutality. If the baby had been old enough to talk, they wouldn't have died too.

An Alabama man has been charged with eight counts of capital murder more than a week after a mother and her two children were found dead in their home.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that 54-year-old William Graham Oliver was arrested in connection to the deaths of 46-year-old Lisa Fields and her two children: 17-year-old Keziah Luker, who was pregnant, and 12-year-old Thomas Cordelle Jr.

Oliver is charged with one count of capital murder of two or more persons, four counts of capital murder during a burglary, two counts of capital murder of a child younger than 14 years old and one count of capital murder in the presence of a child.
“Anytime there are children involved, it makes it a little tougher and especially an unborn child,” Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch said.
The sheriff says Oliver had known the family for quite some time and was inside their home looking for something on the night of April 19.

“He was at the home, 7:30-ish Sunday night. Very, very tight timeline. Very solid circumstantial evidence at this point, and we feel confident that we have the right man,” Burch said.

He says investigators know what Oliver was looking for and his motive, but he doesn’t want to get into that at this time.
Oliver has a criminal history, but Burch says this is the first time charges against him are violent. The sheriff says this goes to show you never truly know what someone is capable of.
