Olivia Webb has been charged and her boyfriend has been arrested for child neglect nearly one year after a 2-year-old died from a fentanyl overdose in Oklahoma City.

According to court documents, police were called to Children's Hospital on August 16, 2022 about an unresponsive 2-year-old girl.
Based on reports, police learned that the little girl's mother, Webb, left the child in the care of Webb's stepdad, Voss Henry, while Webb and her mother, Christine, went to court.

According to court documents, the toddler had her sippy cup and was sitting on the couch. After a short while, Webb's boyfriend, Afton Yeatman, came into the room and noticed the little girl had blue lips. EMSA was called, and Yeatman told paramedics that the toddler might need Narcan. When asked by a medic what the child could have ingested that would require Narcan, Yeatman said he "takes pain meds for a lot of pain."
Police spoke with one of the ER doctors, who told officers that she had been given Narcan, but that she had been unattended 10-15 minutes before there were any lifesaving attempts from Henry or Yeatman.
"[Henry] told me while she was sitting beside him, she did a small jerk like you do in your sleep when you're dreaming," court documents say. "He said before [she] came and sat with him, she was running around. [When asked] how long it was from when she did the little jerk and when [Yeatman] came in and [saw] her, he [said] it may have been 10 minutes."

The doctor said while they were able to get her heart beating again, her pupils were fixed and dilated. According to court documents, another doctor told detectives that she was possibly brain dead.
When police asked specifically about the child's prognosis, court records show doctors said "This was not survivable."

Two days later, on Aug. 18, the child was pronounced brain dead at 10:42 a.m. She passed away at 4:43 p.m. that same day after her heart naturally stopped beating. The report says staff told detectives "no family was at her bedside when [she died] because [Webb] had left."

A toxicology screening was performed on the child. The full panel of results was finally available on February 1, 2023. The report showed that the child tested positive for fentanyl in her blood. The report also showed Benadryl was present in her blood, but that it was normal for Webb to give the child Benadryl to help her sleep. There was also not enough Benadryl in her system to have caused this kind of reaction, according to court documents.
"[The medical examiner] said he had reviewed her records from the hospital and all medical records, and she was not administered fentanyl," court documents read. "He said her brain was so swollen [from the fentanyl] that the swelling pushed the cerebellum down and pushed brain matter into her spinal cord."
On Feb. 13, 2023, the child's death was ruled as "fentanyl intoxication."

When asked where the fentanyl could have come from, Webb said the only person she suspected who used fentanyl was Yeatman.

When interviewing Webb's mother and stepfather, both said fentanyl was not kept in their home. They were also asked where the fentanyl could have come from, and Henry recalled what Yeatman told paramedics about his "pain pills." Christine said Yeatman had a bag filled with prescriptions at Webb's home and suspected the fentanyl came from him.
On March 2, 2023, Webb called detectives and told them she had remembered something that occurred the night before the incident. According to court documents, Webb told investigators that Yeatman had left the house for a bit, and when he came back, he told Webb that she "needed to say goodbye to [her daughter] because [she is not herself] anymore and she is possessed by the devil."

Court documents say Webb told investigators that Yeatman denied being on any drugs that night.

According to documents, the morning that the child overdosed, Yeatman had gone into the room to tell Henry goodbye when he "realized [the child] wasn't breathing."
"[Webb] said when the ambulance and paramedics showed up, [Yeatman] had told them [the child] got into his pills and told them to hit her with Narcan twice," court documents read.

After repeatedly trying to get ahold of Yeatman from Feb. 28 through April 3, Yeatman finally returned the detective's calls.

"He told me he had a friend that worked in our industry and his friend told him not to talk to me," court documents say. "[Yeatman] said he had already given a statement and now I was trying to mix up his words."
