A Reynoldsburg couple is in the Fairfield County Jail after doctors at Nationwide Children’s Hospital say a 3-month-old baby girl was abused, prompting them to contact Reynoldsburg police.
According to court records, the baby was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital after having a seizure. Doctors then raised additional concerns, contacting Reynoldsburg police about possible abuse.
The baby was being treated for skull fractures, healing rib fractures, and bruises on her body, according to information provided to police.
Court documents say 24-year-old Keyondre McFadden admitted to police that he shook his daughter. The documents also say the baby has had multiple seizures since being hospitalized.
McFadden is charged with felony assault.
The baby’s mother, 22-year-old Kylee-Ann Peoples, is also in jail, charged with endangering children. Additional court documents say Peoples began abusing her baby when the baby was 11 days old.
