Kentucky high school student says he has settled a $250 million lawsuit with the Washington Post

So some hick trash Catholic private all boys highschool in Kentucky(Covington Catholic Highschool) decided to send a big group of uppity snob ass white trash douchebags to Washington DC to protest abortion(because highschool boys should have a say in what women can do with their bodies of course). While there, this group encountered a very small group of elderly Native American Vietnam veterans who were engaging in some apparent ceremonial rememberence/honoring of their lost brothers from the war. Well, if there is one thing Trump loving Kentucky Catholic douchebags don't take kindly to, it's Native American war veterans! They decided to circle the men, one boy got right in the face of one, smugly smiling like a douche as he attempts to intimidate him, and the whole lot loudly engaged in chants to drown out the Native Americans' drumming/singing. I cant make out what theyre saying, but there are reports(from the man being insulted himself no less) it was various pro-Trump lines, things like "BUILD THAT WALL!!!". The school clearly isnt doing a very good job of teaching about other cultures and history and so forth if their students think Mexicans and Native Americans are one in the same. How embarrassing.

About 20+ kids at least can be seen either directly hassling the veterans and/or laughing their asses off at the efforts to intimidate and harass and embarrass these American heroes as they simply try to pay homage to their lost brethren while in the heart of this great nation.

I havent seen much to establish it, but i was told by someone else that there was a report somewhere that more than one Catholic school from that area was involved.

The school put out some trash, pitiful petty statement about how it's "regrettable" but merely a "teachable moment". Sounds like the significance and severity of the situation is definitly not lost on them...hah. Scum.

One of the boys fathers(who it sounds like also may be a teacher at the school) has put out a statement where he accuses these Native American Vietnam veterans of being the instigators, of first threatening the boys, and yes, he used the term, "fake news", to describe the current story as it is being reported. Outrageous and sickening. The following is a social media posting from the scumbag parent....

The school has already locked down their facebook page and even their actual website(blaming it on crashing from angry folks demanding answers, haha yeah right, they are locking shit down to avoid the shitshow). Many of the kids have likely done the same, but not before some have been identified.

Here's 2 names thus far of students who were there, as identified thru social media sluething and dot connecting. I think it's important to name them here so hopefully a google search by a future employer or college admittance person will yield this thread and they can see what's up. Hopefully other media sources make their names public, but if not, we all know Dreamindemon is often one of the top google search results when these scumbag trash peoples names get googled...

In an email to this reporter, the mother of the student right up in Phillips’ face said the story was “fake news.” She claimed that Phillips, who she referred as a “this man,” in quotation marks, was drumming close to the teen’s face. But her biggest gripe, besides saying this reporter was promoting hate, was that she alleged the students were themselves harassed. By “black Muslims.”
“Shame on you! Were you there? Did you hear the names the people where calling these boys? It was shameful. Did you witness the black Muslims yelling profanities and video taping trying to get something to futher (sic) your narrative of hatred?? Did you know that this “man” came up to this one boy and drummed in his face? Shame on you. Only reporting what you want. More fake news.”

When this reporter thanked her for the correspondence and explained that it would be reported on as part of the story, she demanded the emails be deleted.
“Delete my email. I want nothing to do with helping perpetuating (sic) your hate. I do not want to be a part of your story. You are ruining a boys life for fake news. Hate spreads like wildfire. I pray for you.”

When asked about her son’s actions in the video, she did not respond.

Wow ... the private Catholic school i went to when I was a child was full of Koreans. And the Catholic schools now are still after all this time ... MIXED. There are a couple Islamic Schools in town ... which doesn't educate white children ... maybe you're talking about them ??

Watching Nathan speaking was harder for me than watching the punkassed little bitch who was up in his face.
I saw reflections my maternal great-grandfather and great uncles in his face and voice as I remember them from my early childhood, and seeing an elderly man who served his country reduced to tears for his heritage and prayer customs by a gang of disrespectful over-privileged brats who are more than old enough to know better was beyond heartbreaking.
IDK about most of you, but in both sides of my family, we were taught to respect and care for our elders, as they had cared for us as when we were too little to care for ourselves, and they had decades of wisdom and knowledge that were shared with us as children and growing up. It's part of the circle of life and family to care for those who cared for you when the time comes.
No member of my family has lived in a nursing home, with the exception of my grandmother in-law, whom I cared for in our home for 8 years before her Huntington's disease became so severe that we knew we could not give her the proper care she needed and deserved at home on a 24 hour basis, even with nurses visiting daily.
Even then, the Mrs. visited her *every* weekday during her lunch hour and after work, and we both went with our late deaf dog each weekend to visit her, so that she knew she wasn't forgotten or put out from our hearts and minds.

It wasn't just family elders we were taught to respect, but all elderly - even if they were mean/assholes, treat them with respect when you see them and politely excuse yourself if they were acting ugly.
For the most part, I've found that even the most crochety of elderly people will eventually warm up to you if you have patience and treat them with dignity, respect and kindness.
My father in-law was like this for the first 4 years I knew him, but by the last 5 years of his life, he'd call me several times a week just to tell me that he loved me and that: "You and Mrs. are MY daughters, Goddamnit!" (he was the Mrs.' stepfather), before asking to talk to his "grandson", our JRT dog at the time.

There were 48 boys identified for the Covington Catholic school from the videos, and all of them are far old enough to know that what they were doing was wrong and hateful, but not one of them stepped up to say this to the others, or walked away in disgust.
Sadly, nearly all of them past the point of learning from this or experiencing personal growth to respect different cultures and peoples in anyway, they will remain stunted for life from the teachings they've received from their elders - and when the time comes, those elders will be treated as poorly as Nathan Phillips was because the true essence of caring and respect was never taught by their families.

Each of the boys has earned all the schadenfreude that they'll receive for this stunt, and I hope it follows them throughout their lives.

Nah you can clearly see an immense group of them laughing and chanting and recording. THey were all either active participants in or active endorsers of what was occurring. It can not be denied.

Not to mention, the entire group encircled and then blocked the veterans path. The victim even said they were attempting to move from the area when the blockade of white trash put itself in his way. This kid was just the worst, blatant, most in your face offender.

I dont think so. This is a Catholic school. They would gloss over the immense amount of abuse the Catholic church inflicted on Native AMerican peoples throughout history. Most of the schools the govt forced the kids into after ripping them away from their families/tribes to be renamed in an attempt to rip their cultures from them were run by the Catholic church. LOT of molestation and abuse took place at these places, and in some places like South Dakota the govt and the Church have linked together to STILL refuse to take any responsibility for it.

OR they wouldnt gloss over it and would instead tackle this ugly shit in history but instead of teaching the truth about it, they would endorse it all as a positive, noble, GODLY endeavor to cure the Natives of their heathenism.
