A Northwest Indiana mother was charged with neglect after her toddler overdosed on meth Tuesday, according to court documents.
Officers at the scene were told the 18-month-old child of Lily Allen was potentially overdosing on methamphetamine.
The child was transported to Northwest Health by authorities. At the hospital, the child had body tremors, irregular breathing and was vomiting prior to the arrival.
The child was placed into the care of the Department of Child Services after they were discharged for the overdose.
