India Turner of Palmetto, Florida is facing charges of aggravated child abuse, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and leaving the scene of an accident. The incident occurred on May 10 in Bradenton when Turner, with her son in the car, rammed the vehicle of another woman on First Street. Turner threw bottles at the car and pulled along side the victim’s vehicle. Turner seized the baby boy by the neck saying:

“You gonna get this baby,”

“It’s all about this ugly (expletive),”

“he looks just like your husband,”

Turner then threw the baby towards the open window; the baby struck either the door or floor boards. Turner then fled the scene. When Manatee County Sheriff’s Deputies tracked Turner to her home to gather evidence concerning the crash, Turner fled the house. Later Turner took the baby to the children’s hospital in St. Petersberg (mother of the year award forthcoming), claiming that she could not pick him up without the boy crying (maybe because you tried to throw him out of the window of a car?). The hospital called the state’s child abuse hotline when she was reluctant to explain the injuries they found on her. Later, Turner called her sister to try and get her to take the blame for the child’s injuries.

The next day, a detective located Turner to interview her about the previous day’s activities. Turner (mother of the year) claimed that the injuries must have occurred while the boy was at her sister’s house (mother of the year). A subsequent interview with child services produced the additional story that Turner got a call about the child being in a car accident (a half-truth).

The police arrested Turner on May 25 on the aggravated battery charge. The Manatee County District Attorney’s Office brought additional charges two days later. Turner is currently held at the Manatee County jail on $65,000 bond. Somebody better get her a GoFundMe started.

About noon May 10, a 43-year-old woman reported to deputies with the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office she had been driving southbound on First Street in Bradenton when Turner pulled up next to her, threw bottles at her car and then rammed into her vehicle, according to an incident report.

The victim told investigators when she saw Turner pull alongside her on the left while driving, she noticed the front-passenger window was rolled down and her baby boy was on the seat unrestrained, according to Turner’s arrest report. Turner then picked the baby boy up by his neck and began to taunt the victim by saying, “You gonna get this baby,” “It’s all about this ugly (expletive),” and “he looks just like your husband,” the victim reportedly told investigators. The victim then watched as Turner threw the baby boy toward the open window and he let out a “horrible scream and cried out” when he hit the door or floor board. Then Turner rammed her car into the left rear of the victim’s car, according to reports.

When deputies tracked the tag of the suspected vehicle to Turner’s home, she became agitated while the deputy was trying to document the crash and eventually got into her car and left. Before additional deputies arrived, her husband also fled.

Later the same day, Turner took the baby to All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg because she claimed she could not pick the boy up without him crying. When she didn’t provide the hospital with any cause, staff called the state child-abuse hotline.

The following day, Turner was with the boy and her girlfriend when a detective came to interview her. The detective reported Turner said the baby’s injuries must have occurred while he was at her sister’s house. After the detective left, Turner told a child protective investigator she had gotten a call about the baby being in a car accident. Turner’s sister later told investigators Turner called her May 10 and said, “You need to tell CPS this happened at your house,” the arrest report states.

Turner’s sister and sister’s boyfriend told detectives May 23 she had not just dropped off the baby as she claimed. Instead, Turner’s sister said she got a call from another family member to say Turner had been in a trap house with her girlfriend and the baby when it was raided by law enforcement.

The sister then drove to the house and convinced Turner to come to her house with the baby. When Turner picked up the baby the following day, her sister told detectives he was happily playing, laughing and there didn’t appear to be anything wrong.

I want to see this baby. Being ugly is not excuse but I wonder if he really was because she is a beast!

JEEZ LOUISE, I about lost it trying to understand that stupid article?!! I don't think it was a complete ADD moment but that "brother's cousin's uncle's neighbor called a family member's neighbor when her girlfriend's sister drove her hushad's car" crap doesn't jive well with me.:shifty::bored::mad::banghead::arghh::dead:

By.. the neck!?
The throwing of children is rarely appropriate.
At least give 'em a helicopter swing by the ankle. :sarcasm:

What the hell crosses a grown woman's mind that she would think chucking a child by the throat is an appropriate reaction?

Humans! I weep for the future.

Soooo I guess this wonderful mother didn't have the baby in a car seat? He was in the front seat just chillin with "mom" ?

Animals like this deserve to have their children permanently taken! No questions asked. What kind of mother could she possibly be or ever be?
But I'm sure someone will come along and defend her... o_O

Do we know if the baby's father was the 'husband' she was yelling about to the female driver she was attacking, and throwing her baby at? She was saying 'he looks just like your husband'...I can see her getting pissed if she just found out her baby daddy had a wife, but NEVER is there a reason to abuse a baby :( Then she tried to pin it on her sister? Lovely.

IF I'm understanding the story correctly, I would think it would be the baby's daddy's WIFE who would be pissed. At any rate, I hope that little guy ends up in a good place. Safe.

What did i read?

Why was nothing done after the incident with the car? Did this other driver fail to tell authorities everything she saw until later? Wonder what the relationship/motivation was there, weird.

Amazing how slowly the law and CPS work.
[doublepost=1467737781,1467610395][/doublepost]I should add, ALL babies are fucking hideous monsters, no excuse to go abusin em. I frankly hate touching them at all. So gross.

Of course, the wife had more than enough reason to be pissed, but she wasn't the one swinging a baby like a weapon. Did I miss it, or was there any real mention of the husband/daddy in that story?

I hope the wife leaves that asshole, and the baby is placed in a loving home - such a traumatic way for that child to start his new life. :angelic:

Frack you man! My baby is adorkable!!!

What the fresh hell did I just read? I'm so confused!

First, does the "Ratchet Hoe of the Week" have a husband, girlfriend, or both? That's pretty murky, as both were mentioned (the gf at least twice).

Second, who are the parents of the child? I'm SUPER confused as to why this stanky twat would throw her own child at some other woman. I'd love to know the relationship/significance of the other driver/woman in this story.

Third, @cubby, at what crazy blog did you get that first source?! If dressed the part, I look like I could be from the WASPiest LL Bean family in New England (just to give you an idea of what I look like), and I was a bit offended by some of the titles of the stories. "Black Matriarch"? So weird! (Fyi, I don't associate you YOU with that- I was just curious how you came across it! :))

She is a ham beast... Yet I didn't try to throw her ugly ass out a window.

I usually get most all my news stories from the Yahoo page, most times they redirect to a news source, so I'm assuming that's what happened here. Tho truthfully I really don't know exactly.
