The globalist billionaire who funded the woke transformation of Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello paid for a similar overhaul of James Madison’s house — where the author of the US Constitution has been shoved into a supporting role, while slavery and racism take center stage.

No American flags fly in view of Montpelier, Madison’s plantation home in rural Virginia, or at its modern visitor’s center. Not a single display focuses on the life and accomplishments of America’s foremost political philosopher, who created our three-branch federal system of government, wrote the Bill of Rights and the Federalist Papers, and served two terms as president.

Instead, blindsided tourists are hammered by high-tech exhibits about Madison’s slaves and current racial conflicts, thanks to a $10 million grant from left-leaning philanthropist David M. Rubenstein.

“I was kind of thinking we’d be hearing more about the Constitution,” one baffled dad said when The Post visited the president’s home this week. “But everything here is really about slavery.”

“It’s been inspirational … I guess,” shrugged John from Wisconsin after taking the $35 guided tour.

Reviewers on social media have been more harsh.

“They really miss the mark,” Greg Hancock of Mesa, Ariz. posted last week. “We left disappointed not having learned more about … the creation of the Constitution.”

“The worst part were the gross historical inaccuracies and constant bias exhibited by the tour guide,” complained AlexZ, who visited July 8.

Visitors to Montpelier get to see just three rooms in the sprawling mansion. The estate “made Madison the philosopher, farmer, statesman, and enslaver that he was,” the guide said as The Post’s group entered the home — a line she repeated at the end of her spiel.

Outdoors and in the house’s huge basement, dozens of interactive stations seek to draw a direct line between slavery, the Constitution, and the problems of African Americans today.

“A one hour Critical Race Theory experience disguised as a tour,” groused Mike Lapolla of Tulsa, Okla., after visiting last August.

I guess I wouldn’t expect much different from the NY post, their distinction regarding whether or not an “American Flag” is present at the site, is a bit telling… trying to fit those buzz words/brainwashing tags in to get the “Muricans fired up” as IF we don’t know that people will have different opinions regarding their visit to the site. I wonder if they asked any “woke” people, who do believe racism is a problem here, their opinion. I highly doubt it. When you have 2 opposing arguments? Each side will feel a need to “dump” (for lack of a better word) their beliefs in one place, leading to “Extremes” and when we go to extremes instead of moderation, it never works. America does that all the time..instead of just fixing the problem, the tend to do everything in extremes & nothing ever gets solved. I think our government does it on purpose so they can keep our tax money & never use it for the good of the people. Only themselves.

Home of Founder James Madison Tries to Ease Outrage Over Biased History

Woke staffers at James Madison’s Montpelier are scrambling to give themselves a patriotic image makeover — after public outcry over The Post’s report on the shameful treatment the Founding Father has been receiving at his own Virginia home.

Inflammatory political content was scrubbed from the landmark’s website within days of The Post’s July report. Just this week, Montpelier announced a freshly expanded, month-long “Constitution Day” celebration to mark the Sept. 17 anniversary of the document’s adoption.

“It’s a response to The Post’s coverage,” said researcher Brenda Hafera of the conservative Heritage Foundation. “Public opinion is having an impact.”

Lavish funding from left-leaning donors like David Rubenstein paid for a 2018 overhaul of the Madison family plantation. High-tech exhibits on slavery and current racial conflicts now take center stage there, shoving the author of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights into a supporting role.

Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s nearby home, has undergone a similar woke transformation.

As recently as July 19, Montpelier’s website included an “Independence Day Message” – issued in 2020, at the height of the George Floyd riots – that made no mention of the nation’s founding.

“Montpelier is committed to … amplify[ing] the stories of Black lives at Montpelier in support of Black Lives Matter,” the statement read. The historic home’s main aim, it said: to “investigate and share ways that the U.S. Constitution has perpetuated and addressed racism throughout our nation’s complicated past.”

But by July 23, Internet archives show, the text had been excised from the website, leaving nothing but a “404 Error” message in its place.

Montpelier spokeswoman Christy Moriarty claimed the deletion was routine.

Is a fascinating phenomenon that is happening with history. It's like it is impossible for people to reconcile that good things were done by people that had objectionable skeletons and behaviors in their own closets.

If you want to roll it back far enough then frankly undo everything including the Constitution and disband the whole United States thing and start again. Keep in mind though that everyone's social media will come under scrutiny that's involved in reconstructing a United group of states. Pretty much everyone on the planet has skeletons of differing degrees.

Slavery was fairly common practice at that time but forget about that. It doesn't matter they should have been living their lives in accordance with how the country morphed over 250 years. Why didn't they have crystal balls?

Truly some of the most idiotic knee jerk reactioning ever.

Cancel IBM they helped count the victims of the Holocaust. Get rid of
Fanta soda it was the pop of the Nazis.
Oh and by the way get rid of Coca-Cola too because it was their brand so that they could get money from the axis during war.

Idiotic.
