The Polk County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that officers on Monday morning found multiple victims of "apparent gunshot wounds" in the home in the unincorporated community of Blanchard, about 70 miles (110 kilometers) northeast of Houston.

Emergency responders received a call for help around 10:30 a.m.

The sheriff's office says its detectives are investigating along with the Texas Rangers, but that it can't release more information because "the scene is extremely fluid."

It's a family of 5 including a 15mo baby!

Polk County sheriff's officials say two men were found dead inside the house while two women and the infant girl were discovered outside the residence.

Chief Deputy Byron Lyons identified the deceased as Ashley Delaney and husband Randy Horn, as well as Delaney's in-laws, Carlos and Lynda Delaney. The child's identity hasn't been released, but Lyons says a woman was found safe locked in a bedroom closet. She told investigators that she awoke about 5:30 a.m. Monday to a disturbance described as popping noises. She called her son, who alerted authorities about 10:30 a.m.

Lyons says a firearm was recovered from the house about 75 miles northeast of Houston and that no suspects were being sought. However, he declined to characterize the incident as a multiple homicide and suicide.

I agree, that 5 hour lapse just doesn't add up ..

The way the story is told doesn't add up.

Besides why it took 5 hours to call her son, who was this woman? Was she in the house or scared nearby? Fucking amateur journalist they got writing this shit.

Gun found
No suspects sought
One individual survived the shooting...

Yeah that bitch who "locked" herself in the closet killed em all

. Ashley Delaney's mother was found safe and locked in a bedroom closet when authorities arrived, KPRC-TV reported. She told investigators that she awoke around 5:30 a.m. Monday to a disturbance described as popping noises. She called her son, who alerted authorities around 10:30 a.m. Authorities said she is not considered a suspect.
Still no explanation of the 5 hour delay.

It's possible the event lasted a long time, if this guy was raging and killing multiple people. She may not have had a phone with her in the closet.

I could see someone cowering for awhile, afraid to come out in case the killer were still there, or afraid of what she might find.

This woman lost her parents, her daughter, and her grandchild all in one fell swoop.

Cut her a little slack.

A friend of Lynda and Carlos Delaney told The Daily Mail that Horn and Ashley Delaney had been married for "three or four years," but Delaney was planning on leaving Horn.

Welp there you go, there's his motive. She was going to divorce him and his little pussy self couldn't take it.

She had to have been terribly traumatized and paralyzed in that closet. :(
