Edison J. Thomas, 31 arrested for the arson of a Tucson church.

Tucson-

"On June 21, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses
was burned and authorities said the fire was suspicious."

"Deputies were able to successfully extinguish the fire before the fire department arrived, and the church suffered minor damage."

"A security camera captured a video of someone approaching the building before the fire."

"This was the third church fire in southern Arizona in less than a month. In May, two Douglas churches were gutted and a man is facing federal charges"

And here he is, Eric Ridenour, arrested for the Douglas church arsons.

"The criminal complaint states surveillance footage showed at 10:38 a.m. on May 22, a blue Pontiac Aztec parked west of Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Church and a male subject got out holding a plastic bag before disappearing from view. Four minutes later, the subject is seen walking back toward the vehicle and toward the First Presbyterian Church."

"The criminal complaint shows ATF agents determined the only Pontiac Aztec registered to an individual in Douglas, Arizona was registered to Eric Ridenour."

"A search warrant was executed at Ridenour’s home on May 23 where an ATF canine detected the presence of accelerants on pants found outside the residence. Those pants matched the appearance of the pants worn by the person in the surveillance video. A green hat that matched the appearance of the hat worn by the person in the surveillance video was found inside the vehicle. The ATF canine detected accelerants on shoes worn by Ridenour, which the complaint shows matched the description of those worn by the person in the video."

UPDATE:

We know why Eric Ridenour burned down 2 churches.

"Described as a man with a violent criminal history who doesn’t like women or gay men preaching.

Investigators said Ridenour and his wife once attended a church in Bisbee but were asked to leave over their beliefs.

The church pastor told investigators Ridenour believed women should not be in any “position of authority in the church.”

One of Ridenour’s neighbors told investigators that Ridenour “didn’t like gays, didn’t like politicians, and didn’t like women in general leading the church.”

That neighbor said Ridenour believed the Bible prohibited women and gay people from preaching."

"Ridenour was previously convicted of criminal damage involving a domestic violence incident with an ex-girlfriend.
In that case, Ridenour allegedly kicked a door down while fighting with the woman. He was also arrested for allegedly threatening to beat up an ex-wife’s fiancé and pouring sugar into the gas tank of another ex-girlfriend. "

Re: Ridenour.... what a dumbass. The last year for the Pontiac Aztek was 2005. They're not exactly a common car. And yet he drove it to the scene of a crime LOL.
Not to mention that Azteks are gigantic godawful ugly cars that look like absolutely no other car out on the road.

I can say that because I had an Aztek for a few years and honestly I kinda loved it as long as I didn't have to look at it.

My brother was a courier before he retired, and the company he worked for gave him two Azteks. They were really reliable cars that ended up with a few 100,000 miles each. And he and I both liked them! They looked like leftover car parts that were cobbled into a car!

I only had the one, but it was fantastic. Comfortable seats, lots of space, a nifty cooler built in, decent acceleration and smooth engine... I absolutely hated the way it looked, but driving it was great.

Update on Eric Ridenour:

"Eric Duane Ridenour, 58, was convicted of six arson and hate-crime counts"
He got 36 years.

"Ridenour represented himself at trial and spent much of his time in front of jurors describing homosexuality as “a sin” and “an abomination.” He also complained that women and homosexuals weren’t supposed to “teach” in church. St. Stephen’s has an openly gay pastor and a woman is the pastor of First Presbyterian."

Tired of unhinged people destroying everything in their path.
I blame teenagers having waterbeds in the 80s.
Everyone I knew who had one turned out rotten, still sleeps in it at their parents house, or became a snake handler and talks in tongues.

Well? It wasn't heavy metal music or pop rocks, why not waterbeds ?
Ehh, hell with you all !
