A mother was found unresponsive with heroin in a Newport News store while her child was left in the car on Friday.

Police responded to a convenience store after they received reports of an unresponsive female in the bathroom.

The waste of skin was identified as 38-year-old Sarah Dail. While Dail was inside the store, her 5-year-old son was left unattended inside the vehicle.

When officers arrived, Dail was already with a medic. Dail consented to a search of her purse which revealed suspected heroin.

Possession of Schedule I or II Drugs and Child Abuse/Neglect charges have been leveled against Dail.

Probably the hardest thing is to motivate someone to change in their core. Getting them into the right state of mind to straighten up (hah!) is the number 1 challenge in addiction treatment. I believe "calling on a higher power" is still telling addicts that they personally have no power and are dependent upon this outside force. Trying to use one of the pillars of our domestication programming has obvious flaws. It is my opinion that the power needed is locked inside them and only they can unlock the vault. Regaining one's personal power is key to establishing and keeping the desired state of mind.

Tell me that fucking bitch isn't half smiling in that mugshot.......Kids don't ask to be born, so parents have somewhat of an obligation not to suck. I had a spurt of alcoholism and a slight pill problem when I was younger, but I would have never let this shit happen. I'm sure the walking, talking turdette doesn't even see this as rock bottom.
