A man in Colorado was caught by police allegedly using his dog to hide black tar heroin during a traffic stop, authorities said.

The discovery was made after Aaron Brown, 28, was pulled over by cops in Pueblo on Nov. 4 for driving a white Subaru without legal license plates, according to police.

At first Brown gave the officers a false name. Once the cops learned of Brown’s true identity, they took him into custody since he had several active arrest warrants.

During the traffic stop, cops also discovered Brown had a small pooch inside his car, which was wearing a doggy jacket.

When one of the officers from the Pueblo Police Department took the dog to the Humane Society, he felt a small container inside the animal’s jacket.

The substance inside the container tested positive for black tar heroin.
