Hunter Biden was indicted Thursday on nine charges — including three felonies — in part for allegedly dodging more than $1 million in taxes while living a hard-partying “extravagant” life over a four-year period.

The three felonies leveled against President Biden’s 53-year-old son — who faces a maximum penalty of 17 years in prison if convicted on all counts — include one count tax evasion for his 2018 personal taxes and two counts of filing a false return for his 2018 personal taxes and on a corporate income tax return for his company Owasco, PC.

He has also been hit with six misdemeanor counts of failure to pay and failure to file charges for the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 tax years.

“The Defendant engaged in a four-year scheme to not pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019,” Special Counsel David Weiss writes in the 56-page indictment out of the Central District of California.

“In furtherance of that scheme,” Weiss notes that Hunter “subverted the payroll and tax withholding process of his own company, Owasco, PC by withdrawing millions from Owasco, PC” and “spent millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle rather than paying his tax bills.”

Biden spent his cash on “drugs, escorts and girlfriends, luxury hotels and rental properties, exotic cars, clothing, and other items of a personal nature, in short, everything but his taxes,” according to the indictment.

Weiss highlights that Biden used a business line of credit to make more than $27,000 in payments to a porn site, “which in total accounted for one fifth of all of the business line of credit expenditures.”

The porn payments were among nearly $189,000 the first son spent on “adult entertainment” while not paying taxes, according to Weiss, including a $10,000 payment for a sex club membership that he expensed as a “golf club membership”

He also claimed a false deduction for “consulting” that were “in truth and in fact” payments to “various women who were either romantically involved with or otherwise performing personal services” for Biden

More than $680,000 went to these women while Biden wasn’t paying Uncle Sam.

Hunter Biden spent a staggering $872K on prostitutes, porn and sex club memberships and took $1.6 M from ATMs: First son's wild spending is laid out in tax evasion case that could land him 17 YEARS in jail and is a disaster for dad Joe's campaign

Hunter Biden spent a staggering $870,000 on prostitutes, sex club memberships and porn and took out $1.6million from cash machines in the wild spending spree laid out in the bombshell tax evasion indictment filed on Wednesday night.

Federal prosecutors claim the president's scandal-hit son spent almost $5million on a lavish lifestyle between 2016 and 2019 while failing to pay $1.4million taxes in a case that leaves him facing a maximum 17 years in prison.

The indictment set to be a disaster for his father's 2024 run for president alleges that he 'spent this money on drugs, escorts and girlfriends, luxury hotels and rental properties, exotic cars, clothing, and other items of a personal nature, in short, everything but his taxes.'

That breakdown includes $683,000 on 'various women' as well as almost $400,000 on 'clothing and accessories'. It also alleges that he spent $188,000 on 'adult entertainment' and took out $1.6million from ATMs.

During that time, he was in the middle of a well-documented addiction to alcohol and crack cocaine. Hunter has admitted he had a slew of substance abuse problems and completed multiple stints in rehab.

Hunter is now facing two criminal trials in the middle of his father's campaign. In Delaware he is facing a maximum of 25 years in prison for allegedly lying about about being a drug user when he bought a gun.

Nothing but a little show so far, they tried to get him off on all current and future charges, what a joke. If not for one honest judge, it’d already be over, everyone had been compromised, including the special prosecutor. Let’s see if this leads anywhere near a conviction or just a more elaborate fix
Everything he’s being charged with has been proven, now let’s see if he’s held accountable

I didn't think you did needed to pay for it. Goes to show how much he pissed away while we work hard for a fraction of that amount.
I was teasing. I'm fairly confident that all of you know by now that if anything, I'm a natural born prude and would NEVAH be caught in the position of having to pay for sex. Why, much like Scarlett O'Hara, I would die, simply die! But yes, to your point, that's a literal fuck-ton of money. I could buy some land, build a house and get myself a new truck with just his "payments - various women'" funds alone! :banghead:

What position would you like to be caught in?

Federal prosecutor who allegedly interfered in Hunter Biden probe leaves Justice Department

WASHINGTON — A federal prosecutor who allegedly interfered in the criminal investigation of Hunter Biden to protect both President Biden and his son recently left the Justice Department, The Post has learned.

Former Delaware assistant US attorney Lesley Wolf’s quiet departure emerged as she appeared for a deposition with the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday morning — following the Wednesday night House vote to formally authorize the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden over his role in his son and brother’s foreign business dealings.

Wolf’s starring role in the alleged coverup in the criminal tax fraud and foreign lobbying investigation is a significant part of the impeachment inquiry — with whistleblowers saying that she discouraged asking witnesses questions about “the big guy” or “dad,” referring to Joe Biden, claiming there was “no specific criminality to that line of questioning.”

Two IRS agents who worked on the criminal investigation, Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, alleged in prior testimony to House committees that Wolf tipped off Hunter Biden’s lawyers to investigative steps and forbade inquiries into Joe Biden even when communications mentioned him.

Wolf allegedly instructed FBI agents in August 2020 to remove references to Joe Biden from a search warrant affidavit, writing, “someone needs to redraft [the affidavit]… There should be nothing about Political Figure 1 in here,” according to an email released by the Ways & Means Committee.

“That email, I think, is super important because it’s a one-off example in writing of the constant concern of following investigative leads that might lead to Joe Biden,” Ziegler said Thursday in a Fox News interview.

“The FBI agents who drafted that affidavit, they believed that they had sufficient evidence — probable cause — to support including Political Figure 1 in that affidavit,” said the self-identified Democrat and veteran IRS agent, who worked on the case for five years

“That related to [Ukrainian energy company] Burisma, access to Joe Biden and access to the administration and there was ample evidence that was included in that affidavit that’s supported including Political Figure 1. That has a waterfall effect on the investigation because those emails that we’re searching for might not come through to the team.”

Hunter Biden pleads not guilty to 9 federal tax charges at LA court, gets June trial date

LOS ANGELES — Welcome back to “The Surreal Life” starring Hunter Biden.

The first son pleaded not guilty Thursday to nine charges alleging that he failed to pay at least $1.4 million in federal taxes between 2016 and 2019 on foreign earnings that are the focus of a House impeachment inquiry into his father, President Biden

Hunter, 53, nervously fidgeted with a pen before being given a trial date of June 20 — right in the middle of Joe Biden’s re-election campaign.

He faces up to 17 years in prison if convicted of all charges.

Judge Mark Scarsi, an appointee of former President Donald Trump, presided over the roughly 30-minute arraignment at the federal courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.

After years of denials, Hunter Biden FINALLY acknowledged Joe was ‘the big guy’ in $5M China deal

At long last, first son Hunter Biden affirmed during his Wednesday impeachment inquiry deposition that his father, Joe, was “the big guy” referenced in an email about a business deal with a Chinese state-linked energy firm that yielded millions for Biden family members and other associates, more than three years after The Post broke the story — but rejected the notion that the president was ever penciled in for a 10% stake.

The deposition represents the first time the 54-year-old Hunter has admitted that his former business partner James Gilliar was referring to Joe Biden when he raised the prospect on May 13, 2017, of the first son holding a 10% stake in the lucrative joint venture involving CEFC China Energy “for the big guy.”

“I truly don’t know what the hell that James was talking about,” the first son said when asked about the reference, according to a transcript released Thursday. “All I know is … what actually happened.”

The email, found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, was first reported by The Post in October 2020 as part of a bombshell series of reports on the first son’s influence-peddling schemes. Hunter Biden and his allies had long insisted that information found on the laptop either was not his or had been manipulated by bad actors — with dozens of former intelligence officials insisting the trove bore the hallmarks of Russian election interference.

Later in his response, Hunter said that Gilliar’s suggestion of his dad getting a stake was a “pie in the sky idea” with Biden leaving public life after eight years as Barack Obama’s vice president.

Hunter Biden gun trial jurors can see laptop evidence of illegal drug use, judge rules in blow to first son

Five years and one month after first son Hunter Biden dropped off three damaged laptops at a repair shop in Wilmington, Del., and never returned to pick them up, a Delaware federal judge ruled that jurors at the 54-year-old’s upcoming trial on weapons charges can be shown damaging evidence about his illegal drug use taken from his hard drive, his iPhone and iPad and his own memoir.

As Hunter looked on in court — one day after attending a White House state dinner — US District Judge Maryellen Noreika in Wilmington ruled that the “laptop from hell” could not be barred out of hand based on his legal team’s claim it had been hacked and seeded with false information.

However, Noreika did rule that the first son’s attorneys can object to the introduction of specific pieces of information from the laptop as prosecutors — who say there is no evidence that the computer was ever compromised — seek to raise them during trial, which begins with jury selection June 3.

Joe Biden makes surprise nighttime visit to Hunter’s ex Hallie Biden days before she testifies in first son’s gun trial

WASHINGTON — President Biden made a surprise nighttime visit to the Delaware home of Hallie Biden on Sunday — just before she’s due to serve as one of the most important witnesses at first son Hunter Biden’s federal trial for alleged gun crimes.

Biden stopped by Hallie’s home around 8 p.m. for a brief private talk eight days before the 54-year-old first son’s trial is scheduled to stand trial beginning June 3.

Hallie dated Hunter at the time of his alleged gun crimes and is one of a dozen expected witnesses.

Prosecutors allege Hunter lied about his drug use on gun purchase forms and then briefly illegally possessed at least one weapon — which Hallie disposed of in a public dumpster in 2018.

Although many commentators noted the awkward optics due to the looming trial, the visit came four days before the anniversary of Beau’s death.

White House spokesman Andrew Bates told The Post that the president didn’t discuss the trial with Hallie Biden during the visit.

“No,” he replied. “He visited her because of the approaching 9th anniversary of Beau’s passing.”

Clinton and Attorney General Loretta Lynch, had a secret meeting on the tarmac to discuss their children as hildabeast was being investigated
It all makes sense

— Hunter Biden was convicted Tuesday of all three felony charges related to the purchase of a revolver in 2018 when, prosecutors argued, the president’s son lied on a mandatory gun-purchase form by saying he was not illegally using or addicted to drugs.

Jurors found Hunter Biden guilty of lying to a federally licensed gun dealer, making a false claim on the application by saying he was not a drug user and illegally having the gun for 11 days. The jury in Wilmington, Delaware, deliberated for about three hours over two days.
Hunter Biden stared straight ahead and showed little emotion as the verdict was read. After the verdict, he hugged both of his attorneys and smiled wanly. He kissed his wife, Melissa, and they left the courtroom together. First lady Jill Biden arrived at the courthouse minutes after the jury delivered its verdict and was not in the courtroom when it was read.

Hunter Biden left the courthouse holding hands with the first lady and his wife. They did not speak to reporters, got into waiting SUVs and drove off.

He faces up to 25 years in prison when he is sentenced by Judge Maryellen Noreika, though first-time offenders do not get anywhere near the maximum, and it’s unclear whether she would give him time behind bars. The judge did not set a sentencing date.

Hunter Biden jurors sound off on why calling his daughter to the stand was a critical mistake

Two of the jurors who convicted first son Hunter Biden on federal gun charges Tuesday told The Post they were particularly affected by his eldest daughter Naomi’s testimony – with one panelist saying the defense team made a mistake calling her as a witness.

Naomi Biden, 30, recounted her father’s erratic behavior in the days after he illegally lied about his crack cocaine addiction to purchase a .38-caliber revolver on Oct. 12, 2018.

At one point, she said, Hunter had texted her at 2 a.m. on Oct. 18, asking if Naomi could meet him somewhere in Manhattan to exchange cars after she used his Ford Raptor pickup to help move her then-boyfriend Peter Neal into her apartment.

“I’m really sad, dad,” Naomi texted Hunter later that day after he missed out on another planned rendezvous.

“I can’t take this. I don’t know what to say. I just miss you so much. And want to hang out with you.”

“It just seemed so sad for her to see her father in such a state,” one juror, a 51-year-old black woman from upper Delaware, told The Post.

“She was happy when she thought he was getting better, then he relapsed.”

“I just think she probably just wants her dad to be like he was before her uncle [Beau Biden] died [in May 2015],” she added.

Are the jurors saying that they think Beau's death is catalyst of Hunter drug addiction?

He won't get any time, he'll get probation and be allowed to go about his life, everyone feels so sorry for him, taking his brother's death so hard.

Good grief.
